Simply fox- ok thank you so much. Tomorrow we will all be here to talk about what we can do to reach our goals. Hope to see you there.
I'm 15, 5ft3in and I weigh around 105. Like fox, I'd like to be around the 90s and I do Kung Fu and have some muscle mass. and.. I'd like to try this! Oh. And you can call me Ana
Ana- ok that's great! I'll help you with as much as I can. We will begin talking about our plans for or diet and goals tomorrow. Thanks!
Let me just say that one of the strategies I used to lose weight is to slowly day by day take away the extra portions or snacks I used to eat. Then I decreased my meal sizes , one meal at a time. I lost 25 lb. 150 lb now and goal to hurt fat into muscle, fat is energy yet to be lost. To lose weigh, good idea is no more ice cream, and healthier meals, home cooked. use recipies online
I'm 15, I weigh 170 lbs and I'm 6'2" When I was about 10-11 I was quite chubby but then I found an interest in sport and turned a lot of the fat into muscle.(I also got a lot taller too) Playing high energy sports like tennis helps a lot. I still have a really bad habit of eating late at night which can cause weight gain, it's a good thing I exercise. Just find a sport you enjoy and commit to it, no matter how bad you are, you'll get better. And eat good proportions, your meal should consist of palm sized sections, so a palm sized piece of meat with a palm sized about of rice/pasta/potatoes and a little more than a palm sized amount of vegetables, but remember fat is needed, so don't cut down on every single thing that is fatty, cut down on saturated fats, they're the bad ones
Just drinking water helps so much. I know 2 people who didn't exercise that much but just drank water and ate a little bit better. They both lost around 30 lbs in about 3 months. Weight loss is all about commitment though. Keep up good work and it'll happen.
I'm 13, 5'6" and the last time I checked, 120 pounds. My weight can change quickly, it never stays consistent from day to day. I take a vitamin called B-12! It helps promote a good metabolism. So it speeds it up, and a faster metabolism burns calories, therefore helping you lose weight. (I think I got that right ) But yeah! Exercise regimens and diets have to have vitamins and supplements added to the mix. It makes weight loss and a healthy body (immune system, etc) easier. And if you're a nerd like me, you'll enjoy the gummy Flintstone vitamins. I love those things! You can do it, Alida! ~SensualPie
im lauren, im 14 and i weigh 234 pounds. the doctors said i have a weight disorder that makes me like this but i wanna prove them wrong by weighing 150 i play basketball so im hoping that playing will help
Hi alida, I just wanted to commend you for such a brilliant thread. It's a very brave thing to do with all the criticism there is out there and your first big step to a lifestyle change. It's easy to allow to fail oneself but not fail others since you are the voice for others at your age. I hope this builds the confidence you need to fulfill and help you get through this journey. I have been fortunate that I have always had a small build even after having my children. However, now that I'm getting much older I have noticed that my weight fluctuates. I went to my dr and found that I have hypothyroidism which is a slow metabolism. I take medication to control that. I also changed my eating habits and am now a vegetarian. I take zumba classes and go to the gym to help keep those pounds off. It's very easy to become lackadaisical. Try to find an interest in sports or dance and stick to it. You will see those pounds shed right off. Best of luck!!!
You are very brave for doing this, you have my support! I'll try stop by here everyday and keep you motivated! Team Alida
Actually, it's better to get vitamins and minerals from food rather than supplements. And you have to be careful about overdosing because it could do more harm than good
Oh and since I didn't mention it earlier, good luck with your weight goal! I think the hardest thing is to stay motivated so you should find a workout buddy in rl (or if this board is all you need that's great)
