We already knew this and it's not the only time we've seen moderators come from a moderator RS not the first time something like this has happened
Ngl, mike actually deserves it srry. ??♀️he helped me back in the day and he still does help others.
I agree however I still think he fails on the community aspect I know mike as a different username pretty sure but then again I could always be wrong I have no problem with him and ahli being a moderator and relations manager after all they are together in real life but you have to think to many people it looks like a bias decision Anyhow I've said my share and I will kindly evacuate myself from this thread as others have so kindly have asked me to
Trashieee Diamond Mike98765 Cindyrela ZomerVlinder Mephistopheles lniquitous -QUINN- Marshmallows I support this. Welcome to the team. Mega support for Mike and Ahli duo, Quinn and Inquitious. (Mods should be required to have 1k fight losses though... Js) (And to give the rules of the game major respec!) I'd like to chime in about the so-called 'relaxing' of the rules. The new update to posting rules hasn't been so much a laxing, but more of a reinvestment and proper investment. We all know there is a growing community of people who are curtailing a.t.a's profits by trading items and accounts for real-world currency and I think that the developers would have a better time handling this and dealing with complaints when 9/10 messages they get are spam about noobs splaying their sexuality and bypassing in campus. At least, this is what I hope. Or perhaps they are just tired of the spam. Regardless, the content of reports from now on should increasingly(in contrast) be about more important breaches of the ToS. A.t.a have made a tenacious move this hunt that you may not have noticed. To redeem your progress along the various story lines you not longer have to be gifted a cheap item, instead you must gift it to someone else, so that if you are silenced you cannot complete the hunt. A friend or mine was quite annoyed by that. The third tier silence is 30 days and 2 hunts last 28 so it is possible that people will be penalised by missing two hunts as a response to breaking the ToU. A stronger and larger team that cracks down on the more egregious offences in a.t.a's books is good. Moderation, silencing and the ToS can only be taken more seriously now, wherebefore many people saw silencing as a weak penalty and one often worth suffering, just to tell a funny joke. Don't see the posting rules changing as a sign of laxing interest. Such a big change is, and really couldn't not be, a sign of increased care and attention. I really think it shows that they care so they get applause. Welcome (most) new mods. It's a better round than last.
As devs we always respect the opinions of our moderator team but the decisions we make are ours entirely. We don't require moderators to be "well-known" in the community, but we certainly believe we have some that fit that role. We also have a lot of great helpful players who help out in other ways (as opposed to just talking in WC). Our moderators are also split over 2 campuses so some moderators could be largely unknown to one campus but known in another. We're excited about our new moderators and believe that they'll do a great job. At the end of the day, we hope the community benefits from additional moderators.
Kefo quit wasting your time typing so much. You won't make a difference and won't nobody read all that crying in one post. It's not that serious.
Fight losses should be a qualification to become a mod? You're joking right? You probably wouldn't have over 1k if you weren't so fucking annoying.
I type fast enough that I don't mind "wasting words" or whatever you say. We've all got opinions to express. I like pimd and I like thinking, and I like thinking about things that I like. If you don't like pimd and you don't think about it, Why do you play it? Anyway it's not even that long.
I actually read Kefo's post and I honestly agree with him. ATA should've done this a long time ago, not only will it make people follow the ToU, but it will also make people more giving.
