thank you for the trivia!! i’m loving it (even though most is at 3am😭) my favourite holiday memory i’d say is one christmas when my brother was really little, we made footprints out of fake snow in the living room to surprise him so he woke up thinking santa walked through the house and i can still see his little face lighting up in my head. christmas magic is so cute🥹✨
I love this! My favourite christmas memory! Before my meaw [that's what we called my grandma] passed away, we had a tradition of meeting at her house to celebrate Christmas with her. Christmas was always her favourite! When I was little, she would give all of us ornaments and we would hang them on the tree. On top of that, we would build a fort in our living room! Usually it was a really bad one since we were all kids and she was sick. Even in her old age she still cuddled up with us in there, and we would all sleep on Christmas eve until Christmas morning together, inside of the silly little blanket fort. When Christmas morning finally rolled around, she would pass our presents out one by one. I remember the anticipation to start opening them but wait! We weren't allowed to yet! With our presents [making sure none were breakable] we built something out of them. Silly cars, arches, all that fun little stuff. After we were done building, the adults would judge and we would get one extra present! Though it was a competition, all the kids in the end would get an extra gift, too. That way no one was left out. We'd open our gifts and of course everyone wanted pictures. December 2nd of this year was her 12th year deathiversary, and we are all grown up now. But still, sometimes, we still gather at her house with our grandpa and families, build silly little things out of our gifts, and she's never forgotten. We even leave her old recliner out for her. She's always with us in spirit.
My favorite event for Christmas is when I told my daughter when she was 4, that I kissed Santa Claus! And how every year since then she asks me to kiss Santa! I haven't kissed him in 3 years. I keep missing him. This year we are surprising her with a trip to Disney land during the summer. I will tell her I kissed Santa and he gave us the trip. That mommy was a good kisser. She loves to tease her daddy by saying that mommy kissed Santa and she liked it! Dad plays along with it. She then says he should kiss one of the reindeer!
My favorite holiday was Christmas back when I was little. I didn’t have money to buy anyone gifts so I just wrapped things I already owned and gave it to my family so at least they had something from me. My baby cousin loved to color…sooooo I found these cute little boxes to put some crayons in. But, the crayons didn’t fit. So I proceeded to break all the crayons to make them fit in the boxes. I wanted him to have “lots” of presents to open from me, so I broke tons of crayons and boxes them up.😅 On Christmas Day my poor cousin was getting box after box of broken crayons while everyone else was getting really cool things lmao and he cried the entire time. I thought I did so good lmao. It is now a tradition many years later (he’s a whole grown man now) that every year, he gets broken crayons in his stocking from me.🙂↕️
One chilly December evening, I wandered through a quiet forest blanketed in snow. The only sound was the crunch of my boots and the occasional chirp of a bird. Suddenly, a clearing opened up, revealing a towering pine tree adorned with twinkling lights placed there by some kind soul. In that serene moment, surrounded by nature’s stillness, I felt a warmth unlike any other peace, wonder, and the quiet magic of the holidays.
My favorite holiday memory would be New Years Eve of 2017 going into 2018. I was studying abroad at Yonsei Uni in Seoul & decided to stay during the winter break. I was able to snag tickets to see my favorite kpop group, Big Bang, on the last night of their world tour! First of all, concert tickets in Korea are crazy cheap! You can get any seat for less than $10 at a festival. You can go to an artists album release party at a club for $15 & 2 free drinks! A 3 day festival by the river will run you like $80. It's so good! But Big Bang is such a big group it sold within 2 mins 😭. The only way I got mine was through a reseller lol but even then it was only like 120 for floor seats! The day of the concert we arrived at the venue at 1pm & the line was already wrapped around twice fold. People slept over night. I've never seen more dedicated fans than kpop stans! They had giant fan banners, floral wreaths, food trucks, etc. From the fans, for the fans to enjoy. Anyways this is getting too long, but the concert was the most amazing show of my life. We were also right by the back stage, that we didn't know was gonna be there, so it was like we had front row! By the time we were able to get through the subway & back to our district it was like 11;50pm. So we spent our New Years sitting in a Burger King as the fireworks went off outside. It felt so surreal. Afterwards we found out that was their last concert, & they had recorded it as a final "goodbye". It's so cool to see our concert videos lineup with the DVD released! After 7 long years, they're finally back! We'll have a comeback soon 🤞🏽 but VIPs we're finally home 💛👑!
My favorite holiday moment took place yearsss ago and a few days after the holiday. I had been given a new Playstation game, but our Playstation was always being used by other family members to watch things in the main room. My dad noticed that I was sad given the lack of opportunity to enjoy my gift and a few days after Christmas he had gone out and gotten me my own Playstation.
One Christmas, we didn’t have any presents, and honestly, it didn’t matter to us. My mom, with so much love and so little to give, managed to gift us a single soccer ball for me and my siblings to share. It wasn’t much, but to us, it was everything. We spent hours playing together, laughing, and making the most of that simple, precious gift. You might think, “How sad.” But now that my little brother has moved on to start his life as an adult, I miss those moments with all my heart. Even though life is better now, I’d give anything to go back, just for one more day like that. It’s not about what you receive; it’s not about the gifts. It’s about being with those you love. Treasure every second. Happy holidays to all.

My favorite Christmas Memory/Family tradition was my whole family would gather at my grandmas house for the holiday. She had a big house and each family would get a room. All my cousins and I would play upstairs and prepare a show for the adults. We then would gather everyone around and perform for them. Usually it was just songs and stuff we would see from Kids Incorporated (that was the show we all loved), not very Christmasy but we enjoyed it. Christmas morning we would get our stockings that usually had new crayons and coloring books to keep us entertained until that evening when we would open presents. It always sucked having to wait until evening to open gifts but we got the whole day with the whole family and lots of good food. Once my grandma passed, we stopped doing it. Now I rarely see my aunts, uncles, and cousins. But that is what makes those memories that much more special.
My favorite holiday story was being with my whole family but it's really funny to remember. We are gathering for Christmas mas eve and I was still 8yrs old back then. We are playing outside with my cousins ( Bonz, Vanica and Karmilita ) While we are dancing outside of our house, we are so happy like childens that released from cages 🤣 We are closing our eyes while dancing but then we are opened our eyes. We haven't seen my counsin ( Bonz ) and we are really shocked to noticed that he fell to the canal ( A huge water drainage ) which is very smelly and really stinks. So my tito dive to saved him and they're really covered with black stinky water. 🤣🤣
My Favourite holiday was last Easter when me and my mom went to Disney land orlanda before she passed away last minth
Favorite Holiday memory was when I made my little cousins do some sort of cow boy play during Christmas. I had them fully dress up and recorded them in front of the entire family. I'll definitely be showing that video on one of their weddings 😂.
My favorite holiday memory is the last Christmas I had with my grandpa. My whole family was together and we all sang karaoke. It was a great time.
It’s really hard to pick just one favorite memory, but the one that comes to mind all the time is when I was around 6 years old when my family used to celebrate Easter. I always wrote the Easter bunny a letter and my Easter basket was always hidden to find in the morning after our egg hunt. This one year I was sleeping and my mom (the Easter bunny lol) made it really special by grabbing my letter I put under my pillow and she used a stuffed animal to make it seem like the Easter bunny kissed me on the cheek. It was so special to me I always used to bring it up each Easter after and bragged to all my friends that the Easter bunny kissed me. 🩷🐰
One Christmas Eve, my family and I were snowed in. It was just the four of us Mom, Dad, my little sister, and me huddled in our small living room. The power had gone out earlier in the evening, so we lit every candle we could find and made the most of it. Mom pulled out an old cookbook and decided we’d make cookies using a gas stove. The cookies came out uneven and a little burnt, but somehow they were the best we’d ever tasted. My dad started telling us funny stories about his childhood Christmases, and we laughed until we cried. Then, out of nowhere, we heard sleigh bells. My dad grinned and said, “It’s Santa!” My sister’s eyes lit up, and she rushed to the window, only to see our neighbor’s dog running around with a bell tied to his collar. We all burst out laughing, and even though it wasn’t anything fancy, it felt like pure Christmas magic. That simple night, with nothing but candlelight, burnt cookies, and laughter, has stayed with me as one of my favorite Christmas memories.
My favorite holiday memory is from a few years ago during Halloween. The whole family would camp out in tents near my grandma and grandpa's graves, and we’d enjoy a lot of fun activities. Some of us would cosplay and scare each other during the night, which was always hilarious! There were also a bunch of other people there, so I got to know some new faces. Despite the setting, the cemetery felt lively and vibrant, which made the experience even more memorable. I really miss that time and hope we can make it a yearly tradition again. With everyone getting busier and the pandemic that happened the last few years, we’ve only been able to visit, so I hold those memories dearly and cherish them🤍
