Device delinking now available!

  1. @Grannyu - Your account seems to be merged with another account. You should email support, they can undo the account merger for you if needed.

    @ wendy-shifu - Yes, you have to have ATA ID or Facebook linked to an account before you can start delinking devices from it, otherwise you could end up delinking your account from all devices and then not be able to regain access to it.

    It looks like your alt account isn't hooked up to an ATA ID yet, which is why it can't delink the devices linked to it.

    PS - If you go to make an ATA ID, each ATA ID needs to have a unique email address if it's within the same game.
    • Example - If you have 3 PIMD accounts, you'll need a unique email address for each ATA ID you want to create. If you just had one account in Kaw, Pimd, Gaw etc you could reuse your same email address across the different games.
     
  2. This has been tested and you will still be prompted to login via Facebook or ATA ID and it will link the new device to your account.
     
  3. Can you answer my question since iOS 7 will be released in a couple months and I need to know if I will be able to update to the new OS.

    Also, there has been a mysterious device added to my account yesterday. I tried to unlink it but there was a error. I though it was your way of monitoring people and I am worried that if this happens again I will be locked out.

    Right now I have 3/5 devices linked and 1 have already unlinked 1. Will I be locked out if another device gets linked? I have never used more than 1 device for this account. I have never given out my UDID. Actually I don't even know it.
     
  4. Update to Last Post.

    I just check the "S" at the top left corner an now, there are 2 devices linked. The 3 one I was asking about earlier, disappeared. Somehow, it unlinked itself. I could not have done it because when I tried earlier, it gave me an error about making an account.
    What is going on?

    Please reply as soon as you can.

  6. I am using single device n did not do a single factory reset after update but the no. of devices link to my acc keep increasing until 6/5! I checked that all the login times r from same device!

    I wrote to support they just told me my acc was locked up... I want customer support to help me not just tell me that my acc was locked up lol. Of course I know my acc locked up, otherwise I won't email u for help

    You're not linked to an ATA ID or Facebook, so the only way for your account to have gained another device like that would be if you were trying to restore your account via itunes or attempt to copy your game data to another device.
    As you've said, the device has since disappeared.
    If you did not take any actions like this and this occurs again, please screenshot the incident to email support with full details.

    As for being able to factory reset your device when the new iOS version comes out, you are only at 3/5 devices, so you still have room to do this.

    We will be reviewing the situation, however at this time it appears that a factory reset is not required to update to the new iOS version, as per Apple's current instructions:

    You appear to be swapping between two accounts on the same device and have hit the maximum number of times you are allowed to do this. This system is in place specifically to prevent this kind of multiple account abuse. You can still access the account you last logged in with, but the device and the accounts are now locked down.

    To reiterate: You are only allowed to have one account per device. If you attempt to access more than one account on the same device repeatedly, your account and the device will lock down automatically.

    If you repeatedly factory reset your device, it will count against the new device limit and your account will be locked down.

    Attempting to circumvent the security systems in place may result in some anomalous device counts and abnormal setups. Attempting to circumvent the systems in place may result in your account being locked down or banned given sufficient evidence.

    @tight_butt - This appears to be the situation your account is currently in.
     
  9. I'm confused I tried hooking up this account with my other iPod but it won't let me it says unavailable todo so at this moment

    You have delinked a lot of devices recently. You have more than likely hit the maximum new devices limit for the year.
    As a reminder, you are only allowed to link a new device or factory reset your device a maximum of 5 times per year. If you try to add a new device after hitting that threshold, you will see a message stating that you have attempted to link too many devices to your account.

  12. I did ZERO factory reset n use only ONE device to play but my counter increases to 11/5 atm... Support just tell me that my acc lock up but never explain to me y counter keep increasing

    I hv only this device which login into this acc bcos i delinked all the other devices that were linked, after the update... in case my device broken, I can't access my acc anymore

    What I did is delink... U updated the software n telling me that I can delink.. I delinked n u don't lemme link my acc to new devices... If u tell me the truth first, I won't delink lol

  14. Hi i have a question. I link the same fb account on my alternative account and to this account ata. And pop a question that what do you want to keep. Then u choose this then my alternative account gone. And i can log in this account to my other device. What should i do to get back my alt?
     
  15. The restrictions are in place so people do not abuse the system, but in some cases they restrictions may become an inconvenience to people in which case you should email support and explain the situation.
     
  16. HEY PLEASE HELP ME :( my other account got disabled. I was just a beginner and I wasnt aware that there is an "only one account" rule allowed here. Please help me retrive it :(
     
  17. Question : soon ill be moving and won't have Internet I'm thinking of downloading PIMD on my android and delinking this account for my android . Will I be able to re sign into my iOS and sign out on my android again ?

As far as i know, when you reset, you keep the stats like the jobs completed, items bought using extra credits, awards, etc. But in my case, i resetted and unintalled PiMD, and i factory reset my phone, and by the time i log in back my account, i noticed that everything is resetted, is there anyway i can retrieve my Items that was bought using EC ?
     
  19. @Isnbsbs: you'll need to email support@athinkingape.com and work with them by giving them the information they ask for, for them to try and help you get your account back.
