YOUR THOUGHTS ON TEXAS RULINg

  1. Prayers go out to the friends and families of the victims. He should've gotten a severe punishment than just 30 days of . Karma will definitely find it's way back to him. We've all seen how drunk driving is a terrible decision yet some are still stupid enough to do it. Come on now, if you don't value your life than think about the other persons life(lives) that you would be crashing into. How devastated THEIR and YOUR families will be.

  2. I've done my fair share. Here in america we usually dont give a fuck after a few shots and a couple beers.

  3. Elite is right^

  4. So we kill a kid for abusing alcohol in a society that glorifies it? That will bring back the family of four right? What the judge did was right, whether his decision was influenced by monetary factors or not. Now the kid can be a martyr for drinking and driving and tell people his story. He can be the reason another persons death is prevented. Is it fair ? No. But life isnt fair.

  5. @elite Well then stop drinking 

  6. In America, you are able to be charged as an adult with a felony and can be sent to a detention center at the age of 12.

If you consume 3x the legal limit of alcohol, being underaged, that is a penalty.
If you are driving as well, you will be fined.
If you kill four fucking people, that is a felony and you belong in jail.

In Texas, tbh, I'm surprised they didn't implement the death penalty.

  7. A minor with four counts of vehicular manslaughter while under the influence probably will not look good on a resume regardless of his last name and bank account.

  9. I'm sorry but I do not believe in the death penalty. Killing somebody is not the answer to a problem and quite frankly, I'm sure if this was your child or even yourself you wouldn't want the death penalty. That aside, he's 16 so he can be tried as an adult which means that he should've received more of a punishment than what he was given. And yes money does help and yes, sometimes (a lot of the time unfortunately) race does play a factor, what it should boil down to is that if this boy has done it once, what's to say he can't do it again? I'm sure it was an accident however, accidents aren't planned and he could very well have an accident again.

  10. I agree with the ones saying that fucker should of got the death penalty. I'm sorry, but you're a lousy no good son of bitch and you've done something so horrendous that you've been sentenced to death, you deserve to be taken out back and shot. I don't believe in this it's not humane bullshit. Was the way a murder killed his victims humane? Hell no, so why should their death be. Now I'm not saying go dismember their bodies or anything, but I say hang 'em or fry 'em, even gas 'me if you want. I don't think it's right that the people we house in jails and prisons across the United States get 3 square meals a day, a hot shower, etc when some of our elderly people get worse treatment in nursing homes. Our tax dollars are going towards giving these kind of people a life that some of them enjoy cause they don't have to work. That's not right. They should be miserable in jail so therefore they learn their lesson and try to stay out of there. I don't want my money paying for some serial killer's gourmet last meal when I can't afford one myself. That's it's not right to me. I say the justice system should start putting them to death sooner instead of dying by natural causes in prison or whatever else it could be.

  11. If u read in the bible it says thy shall not kill!! I think there should be a death sentence. IM NOT SUPPORTING what he did cause it was horrible. I just think he should be in jail for life! And that it!

  12. While in most religious texts it does say not to kill, not everyone is catholic so what the Bible does or does not say would not apply to them.

  13. Affluenza...really though...-_- his family is basically paying off the the victims remaining family..

  14. Sick ****ers.
    Death penalty?
Imagine that was your son, brother, boyfriend. Would he deserve it then?

  15. I have a family member in jail for murder… i feel no remorse for him

  16. This wasn't murder !?

  17. I'm not wishing death on anyone. I'm just saying he should've received a stricter punishment.

  18. I agree with peanut. Ap4ever also has a very great point. Kids make mistakes, alcohol is so common it almost doesn't seem illegal.
