Everyone's brain is fills with propaganda Kaname. Just as everyones brain is filled with false info back home. Americans aren't going over there to just fight terrorist. It's to restore power and help a country get back up on its feet so the civilians can enjoy the life they have. But they can't when they are in constant threat of being killed. So it's not a war to just kill. It's a war to restore peace of mind to some people.so they can live their lives
I agree with monster you all go crazy over a 40 year old actor dieing but a 18 year old died protecting your country and you don't see his name on the news.
Im just saying but, Just because of a few extremists it doesnt mean the rest of the religion is just like the extremists :c
Many people think that people join the military to get known or be respected. We only get 1 full day of people noticing us personally I think 1 day isn't enough
I didn't went crazy when that actor died because to be honnest I didn't much, All I cared about was the passenger dying with him that no one gave a shit about. Anyways, you say help their country to stand back up? How long americans are in Irak? I'm pretty sure it's worser now than before. But whatever go fight your fake terrorist. It's your choice, it's your right, it's your belief and i'm no one to stop. Before I go, goodluck brother. I hope you come back in us healty.
You talk about 9/11 as if America is the only country to have their citizens killed 3,000 people died that day, and everyone is supposed to grief about them forever. We'll how about the thousands and thousands who have died and continue to die each and every day due to American government interference in other countries why are they never given a thought why is their death never grieved over? Is it because they're not American citizens and didn't die on American soil. And let's not forget 9/11 was a consequence of American interference in other countries affairs over decades and decades in which countless thousands had already lost their lives in the name of American government overseas policy
Before we even went over there the Taliban where using IED's on the civilians and trying to force them to join them
Yes military members die and don't get acknowledged on the news but honestly they don't care. They did what they wanted to and that was serve their country. Some people still mourn them even tho they never met them
It's a joke to see people who are clueless.an absolute joke. Kaname when you see a Humvee get blown up full of smiling marines and can still tell me terrorism is fake. Just let me know
Been there. Done that. Got a couple of the t-shirts. Its a dangerous but fun life. For those in the right mind set.
They aren't all the same over there no. And that's what's messed up, Alot of people categorize them and are prejudice because some of them are bad. They are ordinary people as well. That would love a normal life
Did you know America was ready to declare war on Saudi Arabia when oil was discovered thereal if the Saudis refused to supply oil to america? Is that not the American government terrorizing another county to get what it wants?
Wow dude...take it from someone who's been there twice (27 months of my life in that country) it's not what it's cracked up to be. Sure it's a rush getting shot at, and you have strong beliefs but half the time you won't see who you are shooting at- you will just be blown up by and IED. In the end, you aren't fighting for your country - you stay and fight so that person next to you gets to go home. Do you even know what percentage of that country is Taliban or supporters vs innocents? Do you know most Taliban hang out in Pakistan (our allies)? The ones in Pakistan are the ones giving the orders, yet we can't get to them (or at least not the level you will be fighting at). And being a marine corps grunt doesn't really set you up for a future in law enforcement. You may not want to go to college...but to advance in rank you will need the college. Not to mention that a degree would actually help you get that job as a cop after you're done with your military career. You have to remember you will be competing against people 20 years younger than yourself for that job- so set yourself apart. Do yourself some good...the military offers those benefits in order to better the troops within their ranks. You may be joining for your ideals and beliefs, but right now you sound like an idiot. "I'm gonna go get me a gun and shoot me some Taliban" cuz I'm not smart enough to look into what the Taliban is doing or why we are having such a hard time defeating them or look into the history of that country and it's people. Look into the thought process they have and extreme poverty over there. It's a completely different culture, so don't try to apply American logic to them. Take a second and do some research man...that small group wasn't the main effort for 9/11. I support your joining the military...it's a great thing to do with your life. But joining to "shoot you some Taliban" is just silly.
Im not joining to shoot some Taliban if I do that that's cool. If I get shipped out to help another country cuz somthing happened I'll be glad to do that. Yes I'll give my life so the person next to me can go home to their family and I wouldn't think twice about doing it.
Yes op I did. This whole conflict started way before 9/11 read up on the history and I don't mean just read up on what American books tell you but read up about views from the other side too. And as for Iraq where are the WMD??? Anyone found them yet?
Not everyone is fighting and yes it's to help their country so the civilians go walk down the street without having to worry about stepping on and IED
