My parents are not to blame for all the negative stuff I've done. It's all on me. If you blame my parents fuck you. Simple as that. They're the best fucking parents and what I decide to do with what they taught me is on me. Not them.
I know you aren't but try to paint a picture as you are. I never would've crossed my parents either considering my dad being in military. however, I wanted to try it. I didn't and don't drink until I'm piss drunk. I've being tipsy. Never tried drugs. I've seen up close what they've done to many young people. Right now today, my dad still doesn't know I drink sometimes and just found out that I go to the casino from time to time only because I ran into him there?
Thank you Jopo that's what I'm saying. My father was also in the military. What I do and have done has nothing to do with my parents they did they best they could with what they had. My mother can tell I'm lying to her instantly. My mother was always around and always involved. I respected and feared disappointing my mother. The way I turned out back then had NOTHING to do with my parenting. Just like I bet you yours had very little to do with your parents. My mother whooped my ass if I got out of hand as did my father. I respected my parents especially raised as a military child you do. I respect my elders, but damn if that ever stopped me in my course of self destruction. My mother saved my god damn life she got me the help I needed. To blame her for what I did is ridiculous, and you may say you're not or whatever, but when you say parents are to blame for their kids you are blaming my mother for my own drama. Maybe before you blame parents maybe blame the American government for the fact that neither parent earns enough to be able to fully support their family unless they're extremely wealthy and in a extremely good job. Maybe blame it on the fact that since technology has come out kids want to spend more time on them instead of outside in their communities. Maybe blame it on the fact that children are slowly losing social skills due to technology and are becoming lost to the masses. Depression rates have risen severely, as well as other mental disorders. The fact is it's not parents, it's society and the individuals themselves. It's society who places parents in a unhealthy position of the rat race of needing money. I'm sorry but my family was very poor and I saw the struggle for money where my father took a night shift because it simply paid more so yes he wasn't around his kids as much but it goes like this...is it better to feed your kids and put food on the table and shoes on their feet, or be constantly up their ass every second of every day making sure those little fuckers are misbehaving Think before you speak because you basically said my parents are the best all of yours suck because I'm a little goody two shoes who was raised properly ?
I put my mother into bankruptcy because I was hurting myself, she went hungry some nights to feed us, she had a mental breakdown trying to save me...and you're telling me my mother simply just wasn't good enough? My mother is and will always be absolutely the most amazing mother I could have asked for. So think before you open your damn mouth.
