That'd be great for someone who didn't live in a college town that has over 100,000 people looking for a job each day. I'm lucky I have one honestly.
I'm a decent tipper, I tip based on service. Buuuut..... I refuse to tip because "servers rely on tips". I'm not trying to be crass, but that's part of the job. People in this world are rude, obnoxious asshats. That sucks, but should also be taken into consideration before applying to a job where your salary depends on these asshats. I hate people, most are selfish, and therefore I won't trust them. Because of this, I'll never have a job where I have to trust them to supplement my jobs' already government mandated below average salary. Servers should be on par with wages of other jobs in my opinion. You shouldn't have to tip someone for doing their job. Tip someone if they did an exceptional job. Buuuuut..... Seeing how servers make below average, I'll still tip based on quality of service. Sorry the wage is below average, but if your service stinks, ain't giving even two cents. I do agree that great service can get shafted in tips by the aforementioned asshats. That part blows and I don't agree with it.
I always tip its not always 15% or 20%, but I give a couple of bucks, $5-10 im sorry for you... Did you have to split the 2¢ with TGE chef :lol: Potatoes....
Yeah I did. I mean, if you're gonna go out and eat somewhere, expect to leave a tip. It's annoying when you buy $77 worth of food and then tell people you're too poor for a tip.
Lol. I don't mind serving people. Just the rude ones.... I had a table of 24 people...... Thank God it was auto gratuity. They were awful.
I basically tip on what Against the grain said: Quality of service I mean I'll still tip for average service, but I tip extra extra if the service was pretty amazing. I don't tip crappy service at all
