Should the death penalty be abolished?

  1. Ok thank you for making that more clear cause in my opinion it depends on the situation that determines if both the victim and driver should be punished. If the person walking just carelessly walks out into the road like an idiot then yes they should also get into trouble for jay walking but if the wall on a crosswalk or the crossing light is on then only the driver is at fault. But this is just my opinion 

  2. What for hun? ^

  3. Like we didn't know what abolished means XD

  4. If you're pretty dumb much like myself you probably wouldnt know

  5. I am mixed on it some deserve it but it's some what monster like to just sentence some one to death and some times the people are killed in way that seems just plain brutal

  6. I do agree Meggy however like you said some people really do deserve it. I dont think a judge would feel too good sentencing somebody to death though!

  7. (/.-) I agree some deserve it. I don't know if it's just me but I absolutely HATE reading how some people wish certain things upon someone who has committed a crime. Like I'm the type of person who is like, yes they deserve whatever was given to them and leave it at that. I hate seeing people wish that person to be raped in prison or stabbed in prison. They may deserve it but I hate seeing people say those types of things. It makes me sick reading those comments from people.

  8. I understand Kri! I guess it does seem a little ruthless but thats just what people believe in, myself included. :)

  9. I think ATA should be abolished for all the suffering they have caused

  10. We don't have death penalties where I live.
I do feel that some people deserve it, but what they deserve more is to live in solitary confinement with nothing to do but think about their crime.

I guess it depends in where you are from, we don't have a death penalty and our police don't carry guns, death is a big step here.

  11. Police don't carry guns ? :I
What if the person has a gun ?
Then what? Do they magically pop up with guns ?

  12. Depends on the crime.
If you murder 600 people, then wouldn't you want the murderer to be dead? And stop him from killing more? Yeah, you can lock them away forever, but there is a .01 chance they can escape. I just made that statistic up, but you get my point.

  13. Im against it... Its a sin to kill and not forgive

  14. Don't bring religion in this, please.
Forums are going to go to hell if they do.
    Get it?
    Ha. Ha.

  15. Lol. I get it. Nice one

  16. Yeah man Religion and PimD people don't go together.

  17. In lovely ol' Murica, a study from the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS) has recently shown that an estimated 4.1% of people sentenced to the death penalty are innocent. This flawless death penalty system is such a good idea, that it is even killing innocent people.

Should the line be drawn at the extremity of a crime? Or at how many people have been affected? If so, should the corrupt bankers be murdered for plunging most of the western world into a recession in 2008? If a homeless man is murdered, does the killer receive the same penalty as somebody who kills a bus full of kids? Can repetitive small crimes be more devastating than one big crime? Is there any chance of subjectivity over whether we decide to take their life into our own hands?

Those are all questions to ponder, but each one highlights the current problem with the death penalty.

  18. I say The Death Penalty should not Be Legal. The Government Says Killing people are wrong. Correct? But why kill someone that has done wrong even if they "deserve" it? To show people killing is wrong stop the death penalty. No one should have the right to kill a person no matter what they have done. If someonw murderd my loved one does that give me the right to murder them? No. Even if I want them dead is not the right way to go. If you push for the death penalty on court makes you just as wrong as the person who committed the act of crime. Death is not the solution to anything. Just my opinion

  19. we don't have death penalty in uk lol but yes, i believe it should be abolished everywhere. if life sentance becomes a life sentance and the good behaviour rule gets abolished. Murderers, rapists ,pedophiles ect deserve to rot in prison, not just get like 7 years on good behaviour.
