  4. I'm not. I don't see the point in this thread because heterosexual people don't have to go to a specific state to get married. That's not equality. & now that they can get married in any state and they're excited about it, you want to celebrate being a heterosexual? Ha.

  6. It's not what op posted but the implications behind it. Plus the tittle... is kinda offensive. If being straight is great, not being straight, isn't it? Plus as someone said, let the non straight have this moment.

  9. ...because straight people are celebrated everyday. in media, you rarely see gay couples. we live in a society where heterosexual is seen as the norm. hell, people have been killed for being LGBT.

    go ahead and feel proud of yourself for being straight... but this day is for the LGBT community. this is a win for them that they have waited for for so long, why would anybody feel the need to make a thread asserting their pride for being straight?

    This isn't a moment for gay people, it's a moment of equality. You're so focused on supporting gays that once someone says it's great to be straight, it suddenly turns you homophobic?

  14. HAHAHA!! It is equality because now homosexuals are legal to marry in every state. Love wins right?

    So it is equal now, but if homosexuals are being proud on forums, why not have some straight pride on forums to make it more equal?

  18. Tell me why it's so great to be straight. tell me what they have suffered through for being heterosexual. tell me how they're discriminated against. then maybe we can talk about having a special day for us... on top of the other 364 days of the year.
