Abortions should be legal so that woman don't have any choices? I'm not pro-abortion but a 12 year old girl who got molested now has to carry around a reminder of it? I don't understand how you people can be so compassionate about something that isn't even alive, and it doesn't even have feelings. It's nothing but a fetus. I don't believe that if somebody doesn't want their fetus, they don't have to give birth to it because that's what churches say, because abortion is 'wrong', or because idiots on an Internet forum thread think it's disgusting and erroneous. It may be wrong for those people, but woman have choices when they're pregnant and if abortion is the choice for them, it is right for them. Maybe not for you or for me, but for them it is. You can't judge what is right and wrong. ABORTION IS A CHOICE.
Well if he actually takes the baby away from you, then you can call the cops, and say "My child has just been kidnapped, here is what he looks like..."

I agree with Brittani. A fetus IS alive. Saying otherwise is bull****. The unborn baby gets nourished by what the mother eats. Why does the mother get cravings when she's pregnant? That's influenced by the baby inside of her. How do babies kick, if they are not alive? Also, there are speakers you can buy to put on your stomach, that play music to the baby. It often calms the kicking. It's obvious the baby responds to those. A miscarriage is when the baby inside her dies. How does that work of the fetus isn't alive to begin with?
Holy shit. 'Isn't even alive', damn, that's got to be the worst statement on this entire thread. A fetus may be a fetus, but killing it is like shattering its future and life. Think of what would happen if the baby were born were born, instead of being aborted. :/ A woman can have a choice on what she wants, but I'm not pro-abortion unless the pregnancy might end the woman's life, or if the baby was from a rape, but even then I think it should be put up for adoption instead. Just my thought on the matter.
It can't live on its own. It would die if removed from the womb. I fail to see how a ball of cells is considered a living thing. I also don't see the point in bashing people who choose abortions. You don't know their lives. You have no place to judge. However, the issue at hand here is the abused pregnant girl who posted and is keeping the baby, not the discussion of abortion.
Also, Guys-Already, don't call it "pro-abortion." It's pro-choice. People who are pro-choice aren't pro-abortion. They simply believe that the mother has the right to choose what happens to her body.

A baby has to start somewhere, right? It doesn't matter if it's not alive yet, or if it's a bundle of cells or don't fit the scientific qualifications to be considered 'a living thing', because it could, and would, become a baby if it was still inside the woman's womb. If you don't want to believe you're killing a kid, imagine killing the kid's future instead. :| but like I said, it's just my perspective on things.
I don't know. Honestly, I would never get an abortion unless my life was at steak. And even then if the doctors said it was a good possiblity that the baby would live I would probably still have the child. I wouldnt get an abortion because of rape. The baby didn't ask to be concieved. You were woman enough to lay there so you should be woman enough to deal with the consequences of your actions. Adoption is always an option if you can't take care of it. I believe that life when the baby is concieved. It has a heart, drinks, uses the bathroom, can even feel pain, i also believe the "fetus" can feel emotions depending on how the mother is feeling. A baby comes out alive and breathing. That does not naturally just happen after birth. It was doing that in womb.
