Precisely. As mentioned, prevailing wage varies by county. The public library we are working on in Goldendale WA belongs to the Clickat (or sumtn like that) county, and prevailing wage for this county for laborers is $42.50/hr. If you work more than 10/hrs a day, you get paid time and a half for every extra hour you work past 10 daily. The same county but for electricians is like $56/hr. Each area of work has different wages. Prevailing wage at the public school we worked at for a different county was $46/hr for laborers. The guy that did asbestos with us at the same school was making $68/hr because thats the prevailing wage for that area. Those are all gov't owned buildings and thus we receive those wages. I've said demolition like 10x alrdy. Construction crews build stuff. We destroy it lol. Today was the 4th and last day we are working there (for now), I filled 90% of this container on my own, and helped take down sheetrock, plywood and carpet. I guess you can call it a sweat shop in the sense that I sweat more than you do when your parents use your laptop and start typing "P" in the URL.
