  1. What that by guns ?? No it was a bomb. We have had numerous terrorist attacks that have done mass harm but majority are bombs or people being run over.

Our mass killings by GUNS is hell low compared to the US that allow guns

  2. The one (armed black male) who also had a standoff with police... and told them to lower their weapons first... after brandishing his firearm... which they did... and no one was killed just because they were black that particular evening.... you forgot that part amongst the fact that it was a DRUG DEAL that he was shot during... foh.

  3. You guys do realize that the current gun laws in California are in some ways more strict than they are in Australia right? The only part I could find in comparing the two that was less strict was that self defense can be used as a reason for owning a firearm. Still looking and looking for anything that is particularly less strict...

  4. Other countries are also able to trust their governments and their police a lot more than Americans are able to trust theirs.

  5. What I'm getting at is, it's the murderers fault, quit defending these killers. If they killed your family members I guarantee you wouldn't blame guns. You'd blame the murder. You obviously don't care about anyone else, but those who aren't dear to you. Inanimate objects can't make ANY ACTIONS ON THEIR OWN... WE AS HUMANS KILL WITH THESE WEAPONS. WE CREATED THESE WEAPONS FOR PROTECTION, YET MANY OF US SIN WITH THESE WEAPONS. The shooter is to blame for his own actions. Stop defending the sin he committed. On judgement day, it won't be like, "Oh, it wasn't his fault, it was the gun laws." It'll be, "He has sinned drastically."

  6. Exactly

  7. When did I say ever the murderer is innocent or that it’s not his fault he pulled the trigger ?? Because I haven’t once stated that.

The murderers are always to blame ofc but other factors like guns being so easily accessible in the US is what contributes to this. He could of not of done mass harm if he was to use a knife or a melee weapon.

(I know he bought the guns illegal but still the Orlando shooting is a perf example of the issues with the gun control in the US)

  8. I feel a forum lock coming. ?

  9. I just think that the gun reform is already happening. We can argue all day about it not being fast enough but American gun laws are NOT becoming LESS strict year by year and I think that is the point some people are trying to make.

There have been new and more restrictive legislations passed each year. Yet, the tragedies are increasing regardless. I believe most if not all of us want this type of violence to stop, we also want people to stop feeling like doing something so horrific in the first place... so it’s more complicated than just yelling out anything along the lines of “gun reform murica” or “disarm all American citizens especially the law abiding ones”. It just seems to me that certain people would rather argue their position than address all of the issues that go along with this type of tragedy.

We DEFINITELY need gun reform, but we ALSO need to not ignore the other things that lead to this as well, and I read and understood the OP’s point. I can’t disagree with him that sometimes we are quick to point at the issues instead of the acts. Rather than acknowledging that we are almost giving way to saying “it’s not the killers fault for being too stupid, evil, or crazy for using ANYTHING to kill another innocent person”, we’re almost giving it a pass and taking the blame away from them as an individual and something about that just doesn’t seem right.

So we introduce a new legal restriction... metal detectors... security... but then it happens again.... so we have this debate... but here is the thing...

When we blame American society for the actions of one man and then blame a race for the actions of another... or when we blame the lack of gun control for the death of one innocent person but then the environment or economical situation for the death of another. To some of us it looks like a lot like a double standard that we have seen time and time again... especially when most of the people that chime in to argue about those issues don’t acknowledge both %100 of the time. Equality needs to ALWAYS be taken into account, not just when it is convenient for you.

And yes, I am angry, hurt, triggered/disgusted... whatever you want to call it. I am ashamed and embarrassed ... but not just because of the NRA praising 2nd amendment loving flag waving conservatives ... I am equally disgusted by the gun control now!!! destroy the “outdated” constitution any chance we get at a time like this liberals out there... yet again using this tragedy as a gateway to push their political agenda...

America is indeed broken... and I want it fixed too OP... I hear the frustration that a lot of our young people have and can understand that you are having a hard time vocalizing it... but I do think it is healthy for you guys to vent and try to work towards solutions.

  10. Take the murder weapon to trial, lol. Question the inanimate object. Interrogate the inanimate object... People... it's not the weapons... it's literally the shooters. Not a hard reality to grasp. So many excuses to defend a sinner tho.

  11. It’s not as black and white of prosecute the murder give them their sentence and be done with it.

You need to find the external factors on how the roles of these things helped this horrific act happen. So then you can stop these factors from assisting other horrific acts in the future.

It’s like you have an infestation, you are not going to kill the 1 bug and hope the rest run away because they know what will happen to them. No you gotta destroy the nest and destroy any routes of it coming back. It may not be successful the first attempt but at least you’re trying

  12. That is literally what I said. And not what you said at all in the first post. Nature = he is just evil, that's how he was born. Nurture = he was raised to be that way by someone (because of abuse)

  13. Y'all stil arguing bout dis.

    I have da solution.

    Okay like

Sinc im genus I no how 2 solve gun problem. U see @ da nd of da day da only thing dat wuld prevnt mass shootings is 2 make al gun free zones illegal amirite, most shooting hapen on gun free zones. Next, there should b a law that all parents hav 2 follow, al parents by law have to buy a handgun 4 their children when they turn 1 yr old no questions ask, if they don't buy da gun they should be fined with 500,000 ticket. Now @ age 13 kids should be able to buy M4’s and even well equipt tanks 2 protecc women and lastly everyone 18 or older has to legally buy a nuke to protecc da American ppl from corrupt gov trying 2 take ova.

    See m8s

F everyone is scared of evry1 bcos ery1 has weapons f mass destruction every1 wil b 2 scared 2 do anything mirite r wot. U can't fyt dis.

    MURICA

  14. Wow who read all that ? You trying too hard dude. It’s an app game on a phone relax.[/quote]
    Ur dumb af

  15. ^ Messed that up too lazy to fix.

As it has been said by a number of people already, stricter gun laws won’t necessarily change much in my opinion. I’m not 100% positive because I haven’t done enough research, but the homicide and firearm crime rate is lower than what most people think. Keep in mind I said FIREARM please. Don’t get at me.

You can’t not blame the person behind the weapon. That’s the dumbest thing and the most annoying thing to even hear. People blaming the weapon used for the crime committed??? Stupid shih. Everything that Jaco and Chill (even tho i dislike him tbh), makes the most sense to me. The person is responsible completely, no matter if it’s a mental health issue. The person committing the crime most likely understands the situation enough to know wrong from right... if any sense is there (which most criminals do show to posses), the person is to blame... If an evil man didn’t have access to a gun, he’d pick up a knife, a bat, scissors, a damn pencil. Anything he could find. Taking guns away won’t change the person.

Its still a shame shih like that happens so often.

Anyway, I liked the poem. Honestly rating: 7/10 lyrically.

My condolences to anyone who knew or had some kind of connection to anyone in that disaster. Praying for all their friends and families.

  16. So does that mean when the ish hits the fan you'll also be the first one crying out "arm america!"?

Just curious, since you want the rest of the population to be served on a silver platter to those with power to do as they see fit about your resources among other things?
