It's a very hard diet to stick by and should be used a short term method for obesity and monitored by a doctor
Only people on the internet say this. In real life our Dr says keep it up. Caveman diet is how your ancestors ate. Your body is built to burn fats, not carbs. Also it's very easy to stick to once you figure out a bunch of recipes you like. You must be creative
Even in cases like that, it can lead to issues with the body. If you need to diet, don’t take out carbs. Replace bread carbs with fruit or veggie carbs, etc. Carbs keep you fueled and too much protein, especially meat protein which almost all keto recommends, can and most times does lead to horrible things.
I agree that it helps lose weight, but that doesn’t = completely heathy. There are benefits and risks to every diet, keto just has very bad risks and a strange look on the human body. Lots of meat protein with a limit of healthy carbs isn’t healthy.
Keto diet has actually been proven to cure multiple medical conditions. From epilepsy to Diabetes and many things in between. Your body was not built to consume carbs. Industrial farming and the availability of grains and sugars in large enough quantities to produce breads and such is a fairly new thing in the span of human civilization. Your body was built to burn fat.
Ketogenic diets are actually very good. My super work friend that love hallucinogenic is one of the healthiest people I know. It’s all natural and no complex processed food which lead to teeth decay. Ever wonder how our ancestors didn’t need toothpaste or toothbrushes? Only the rich had access to toothbrushes of some sort because they ate sweets more often.
Keto also causes heart issues.... I have talked to 3 doctors and 3 nutritionists they all said the same. It's a diet that also fails if you ever come off of it. I just eat low carb
The vegan lifestyle does the same thing, but even better. Keto can cause horrible vitamin deficiency, anxiety, fatigue throughout the diet, a massive jump in cholesterol which humans have no need to consume, and it can cause things like heart diseases. As great as it can be short term for helping those who are obese or suffer from diabetes or epilepsy, it’s not healthy to sustain and stay on it.
I am not a pothead and it destroys the heart muscle. I am so sick of you're holier then thou attitude. You aren't better then anyone so stop acting like it. You don't know everything and you don't know me to call me a drug addict and I rather be an addict with friends then a judgemental hate-filled person blessed be
Exactly the point I was trying to make. It's supposed to be used for morbidly obese people to jump start their weight loss
