Why would players be required to obtain premium priced avis they might not even want for the chance at some furniture? Its a cash grab. P/potd doesnt do anything to line ATA's pockets and kinis are in such abundance people aren't spending for them either. Let's not forget there used to be hypnocats as a reward at the end of the main storyline but ATA sneakily replaced them with Kinis to create a demand to drive sales.
The drop rate of these boxes are terrible.. now I see why they gave us a year to collect them 💀💀 please fix this cuz ain't no way we gonna pay to get the avis AND to stay forever in an ec club for a rare chance to get them furni
My friends one box was from POTD. Neither me or her have gotten another box from anywhere else, ec POTD or POTD. But they drop from all parties. not sure about the double box thing though, not seen that proven yet

I don't know why everyone still complains, you have 1 year time to finish the dorm, you need a total of 19 boxes only as each box gives you a piece you don't already own, now is confirmed that it drops from potd/ppotdx what more do you people want? The event got reworked and changed the requirements from 7 avis to 3 avis witch is totally absurd but it happened, boxes drop from normal parties as well, what else do you want? Ata to come and give y'all the avis and dorm and everything for free just because you "play" the game?
I've gone through 20+ EC parties since unlocking all 7 avatars and still didn't get a single box sooo idk.
Popping in to say, I just received my first box after collecting the required avis about 19hrs ago. I’ve hit maybe 15 dogs/invs since then.
I keep thinking these boxes just aren’t dropping but then I have to remember this event will go for a whole year. It’s so weird to think about. I hope the boxes drop the entire time. It seems the luckiest drop rate I’ve heard has been 1 box every five parties.
Finally got my first box! I was wondering though... can you get duplicates of this furni, with it not being tradable? Like, if you get 19 mystery boxes you're sure you get all pieces of furni, or it's possible you might need MORE than just 19 boxes?
Yes you will get a different furni item each time, the furnis won't repeat if u already own it, so in total u gonna need 19 boxes.
In that case I agree: 19 boxes in a whole year is doable (for everyone if those drop from POTD/PPOTD too)
I want ATA to consider their playerbase and to bring content that is fun for us. This is a game, its supposed to be fun. I want the cash grabs to be in their respective sections (Molly's/VIP). I want the release of pay to win tradable content (shard avis/lucky boxes/ invites) to not be released at such a frequency that the in game currency (bentos/chibis) is also seeing an inflation. I want ATA to use the surveys they have to throw out ideas like this and get community feedback BEFORE making it a live event. I want ATA to have their actions align with their words and actually care about their playerbase, listen to the YEARS of feedback we have been giving them, and take steps to reduce the demand of black market bento sellers to reduce resellers from this game.
I know it can be incredibly challenging to find the right balance; in order to cater to and please everyone. In this day and age, coming up with original work and content can prove to be a daunting (and, seemingly impossible) task... Hence, in an effort to show appreciation for the PIMD team; I've always tried to find something to like and/or compliment in what's being released. Albeit, as time wore on, doing thus has proved to become increasingly difficult. Then, I see THIS COMMENT... I know that I'm but a drop in a massive ocean of players. Nevertheless, to say that I'm disappointed, is quite the understatement. It has made me seriously consider that, perhaps, it truly is time to move on from this game.
You won’t get duplicates until you get the entire dorm. However, the boxes are tradeable at that point but any duplicate furni is not.
A developer aren't supposed to interact with players as people who get offended too soon. You're a game developer and you ARE supposed to take hate and love both at the same time. Some people will like it, and some don't. So when it comes to ridiculous steps to get avi and dorm people will share their thoughts and most people will say something that u will not like but if you are professional you do not engage with back talking. You could have just do this and that. WE have been giving u feedback and so on but have u ever actually listened to us? NO. unless a huge amount of players are telling you guys to fix it from some previous hunts/events, or else ofc u guys wouldn't give A DAMN?🤷🏻 Anyhow, basically lost respect for ya'll.
