I refused to spend more than a few dollars ever so often on here because I can’t stand gacha games anyway.

Over the years we’ve all seen the blatant cash grabs for low value.
This was one of the ideas you only thought of $$$ and not your player base.
I believe you all knew exactly what you were doing. Knowing people would push back at 7 so make it 3 to be “reasonable”

People should not have to get multiple Avis they don’t want to get things they do want.
People also should be able to just get the avi they want without chance.

The comment from the team member and the “apology because they had to” was atrocious.

It sucks because I haven’t been a fan of most of the shard Avis out (even though you spitting them out or bringing old ones back too frequently).
I liked most of the Avis probably would’ve got 2.
Not now unless someone gifts them. Spending money with the continuous lack of content or “ accessible content” is a no for me.

Implore others if you want change stop spending money!!!

 

I mean, as long as people keep desperately trying to get everything right away, regardless of how expensive it is, theyre going to keep doing this. Still feels stupid expensive even after the update to it and them making it a bit "more" accessible.

As far as the feedback, it feels like they take 1 step foward, and 2 backwards. One clear example is when they started with the mini events, they made that chocolate bar event which was horrible drop wise, they got a bunch of negative feedback on it. Later, they make another similar event (the flower one? Cant remember the name exactly) and it was actually pretty good, easily doable and accessible. They got pretty good feedback on that. Then they make the Dino event (which was another similar event) which was ridiculously inaccessible for probably most. So instead of going off of the feedback from the event before that, they regressed. But you also had people claiming that ata wouldnt get a single cent from them on that event (one person in particular said this) and they end up doing t10 lol, so for them, why stop making cash grabs? Just feels like even when they do end up doing something right, they just end up going completely backwards.

 

Are we 100% sure they only drop from ec parties? If so, that’s SO MF MEAN. But their exact wording is:
‘Once you've completed the story quest, Waves of Light Furniture Boxes will start dropping in Parties for you!’

Which makes me think that suggests ALL parties, otherwise they would have specified right? They would have worded ‘dropping from ec parties’ like in past stuff.

But if it does turn out it’s only ec parties, that’s an absolute joke. So many paid this much to get here and can’t even afford to get the rewards. Sad.

 

Stop trying to grab quick cash you lazy developers. Bring in good quality updates that'll actually keep the player base and keep the game growing.
Else a lot of us will quit 👎🏻

Should have been a public apology seeing as what she had said in the beginning was public. It seemed to have offended people it wasn’t even aimed at.

 

The dev apologized, genuine or not, she did. Y'all got the event changed more to your liking from 7 avis to 3 and blame and condemn the big spenders when they ask for refunds and so on without even thinking they support this game to keep running on your behalf as well. What more do you want, to ask compensation for moral damage or something like that? For real, what's wrong with this generation? Some people say that the rewards should be changed to 105/105, others are happy they can get 110/110 avi for 45-50 bentos. That's totally mental complaining about why should you get all the avis when the final reward is something so valuable. For real, fix up 💀

 

She did apologize publicly in a new forum post. I still don’t think it’s genuine but at least it’s a public one.

 

I’m kind of confused now, she apologized privately, this wasn’t good enough. She apologized publicly to you AND the event has now been reworked, and this still isn’t good enough. What are you expecting from her since what she has done to rectify what she did is not satisfactory ?

 

I want change to continue to happen. I don’t want it to be a singular event. The way she responded to begin in with shows that they know and have seen we are frustrated with all of the costs but choose to ignore it. Yes she apologized. Yes the event was changed. But I expect them to be more conscientious in the decisions the make in the future; for both the integrity of the game and how they respond to criticism. I don’t want this to just be empty words disguised as an apology to just get everyone off of their back. I want them to want to be a better company for us.

 

An apology typically has two parts:

1. Recognizing the damage done.
2. Taking steps to fix it.

Marceline has done both, she’s apologized privately and publicly, acknowledged what she did, and reworked the event. You don’t have to accept her apology, but by those standards, what she’s done is sufficient.
Expecting the entire game to be permanently reworked as an ongoing conscious decision based on this one situation isn’t something you can control. You couldn’t control what she said, and you can’t control how she apologized. What you can control are your expectations about the current situation.
Given this company’s track record, expecting continuous change from one incident is unrealistic.

 

Reworking the event wasn't even necessary, that only caused more unnecessary discussions and created a bigger issue

They drop from all parties. Cat, dog, and invs have a chance to drop double boxes.

I have yet to see someone report getting them from a p/potd or kini party.

I’m just replying based off of the original post. Why would certain ec parties have a chance of dropping double if regular parties don’t even have a chance?

 

All of it.
POTD parties don’t drop any boxes.
ec parties (dogs, cats, and invites ) do drop the boxes. The drops rates are still in hell. I’ve gone through 10+ parties since yesterday unlocking 7/7 Avis and got my first box like 20 mins ago, this box came from a dog party, and this was only 1 box.
