The term “transferring resources” is also unclear to me, I wish they world clarify this, but I’m assuming it’s not just transferring misc, furni, stats, etc. over to your main. If this was the case, PIMD would have no more players because everyone would be banned - like so many clubs have alt for president. Bentos go to them for storage; flash hosts usually have bentos gifted to alt prez so they don’t get spammed and lag the game. I assume that there is more to it than just transferring stats and furni. Maybe like they found out the method of transferring stuff is suspicious, like people using bots
Someone transferring 50 of a single stat item from 50 different alts would be suspicious, I think. Not one or two.
This is my biggest thing. It is completely unclear, and while yes there are obvious times where bots are being used to do this, they are also banning alts who HAVEN'T done this. Which is the bigger issue here, and one they won't even try to clarify or explain to a player.
I think they would be looking at the activity level of the alt. If you barely ever use it... Was it really manageable? Did you play and enjoy it regularly, or only when the need arose?
I used alts to showcase my complete dorms, since the additional dorm feature is still not available. I have had an alt banned today that was A) President (and sole admin) of a solo club B) Equipped the full lap of luxury dorm C) Never been used for any form of betting, scripting or any other breaches of ToS.
It turned out there are many people that their alts got banned... i thought it was only one or two cases.... Tbh playing with alt is enjoyment in it self... you start over from the begining and find some new friends...
It’s time to use the account deletion feature - I like how they implemented that Bots and unused alt account clogs up the servers so that’s why I’m assuming there have been a mass ban. I went in today and will continue tomorrow to delete my unused alts. I was active prior but since my second job, obviously not cuz I wanna sleep.
How do you even delete your acc? There is no reset option or even an evict dormmate... or they have new feature to delete acc now?
There is the option now. Go into settings in the upper left hand corner, then click on “account,” then you should see a button for “delete account”
I don't see the option... it just disconnect device... means only log off from the device not to delete account..
Yes they re added delete acc. I think you gotta send a help ticket for them to do it for you. Probly to avoid the whole 'but i didnt mean to tao it it was a miss tap' bulshit some people would pull to try get free shit or whatever
Update (sorry for the wall of text): "Hello, We've investigated the account further and we've deemed the ban to be valid. "Account permanently banned due to being a bot or benefiting from being in a bot club - no appeals will be considered." No further appeals will be considered and any other inquiries about the appeal of the ban will be marked as spam and ignored." This is false. The account(s) in question are a handful of alts, of which were manually unlocking parties for my own club, for solos and future use. All actions, logging in, logging out, starting parties, hitting parties were completed manually by me. Each alt hit less than 20 parties in the last 2-3 months, and all are below 50kcs, none of them are achieving POTDs and farming misc. They were likely flagged by an algorithm because they are all named similarly, and similar in size. However, there was never in no way shape nor form any botting or automation of any kind. If I were to do something like that, would I really name each of them after my main with "Goose" in each IGN? Furthermore, would I risk giving them full dorms to equip? Honestly, the most frustrating part of all of this is the support, or the lack of from ATA. As they said they would, they have ignored any future attempts to discuss the matter, I'm sure if a human actually looked at the accounts they would see there was clearly no botting involved, and no breach of ToS. At this point, and the lack of respect the ATA are showing to their customers, I'm embarrassed to have financially supporting this development team. It's less about the full dorm I've lost, and the club, but the total lack support given, and raises concerns for any future support given to a product I am choosing to invest in. This interaction is leaving me considering going totally free to play, or, quitting the game entirely.
You are really comitted to this game to even created several alts to operate solo club with your alts hahaha... If i were you i'll be leaving this game... go enjoy the real life... take some vacations and use your money for a better use... Maybe its a good sign that you need to leave and enjoy life outside of pimd... it will be worth it, i promise.
