Please. Timer boxes are a way for players to get a free boxes to open. How are y’all going to complain about greed and having to spend money, when you can literally just wait to open them. Also, if the drop rate was altered it was probably for good reason.
And what reason might that be? For months, the timer boxes have been 8 hours long and drop a minimum of 250 drops. Aside from the first few months after they were introduced, they have been that way for perhaps 20 hunts (looking at all them unopened timer boxes). And since in the NYE hunt they nerfed it a little, but the big nerf came with the Aussie hunt with the 3hr boxes. And now these 6 hr boxes. I have yet to have found the post of ATA explaining the reasoning behind these changes. So until they do, my petition is keep the 8hr timer boxes with 250 min drop. I never even mentioned anything about having to spend money. Yes I did mention “poor yet plentiful POTD players” because the way I see it POTD players don’t spend as much as people constantly (or always) in cat clubs. And at least for me, those boxes are a great way to complement the very low drops from the POTD.
To make it clearer: the 8 hour box drops a minimum of 250. the 6 hr box drops 65. the 3 hr box dropped 35. it’s a HUGE reduction in drops and as POTD clubs are concerned, I do rely a bit on them to make it to 30k on the occasional hunt I do like (such as this one).
I agree. It wouldn't bother me if the rate was decent and the math made sense. But it doesn't. And even though there's a chance for them to drop more, all the boxes I've opened this hunt have only given me 65 drops, while the normal 8h boxes always vary and give me different quantities. 8h boxes have always worked perfectly and I don't see a reason to change something that's working.
The money part wasn’t directed towards you. Someone else had mentioned ATA being greedy. My point really is, ATA added the timer boxes recently and it’s an additional and easy way to get more drops/items. It’s unnecessary to complain about something that they didn’t have to choose to implement. Getting things from timer boxes isn’t something you’re entitled to. They clearly changed the drops for a reason like I stated before.
1) I said time changes aren’t a big deal, not drop rate (also I meant drop rate as in how often they drop from parties, not the amount of drops they give) 2) You’re the drama queen. I did all this calmly, you’re the one that seems to be making a big deal over something happening in a game. If the rate is “nerfed” then send in a help ticket. 3) If you don’t wanna see my comments then add me to your ignore list on here, it’s very easy.
My theory is they changed it because this is a 1 week hunt so you’re not gonna get the same amount of drops (over all) as a 2 week hunt.
