I would never hit a woman under any circumstances. I am trained in how to restrain, and should anything escalate to violence, an armbar is much more effective than a punch. I grew up in the shadow of domestic abuse. Violence has always been a tool of control. While in this instance, the woman was behaving terribly, responding in kind was not the answer. Manners and decency are what separate us from the beasts. Just because you can act like one doesn't mean you should.

Did Osw think this was UFC and that I'd shoot and put her in the Gracie guard Like Sloth said, there's a standing arm bar, basic and reverse wristlock, a side choke, and a bunch of other easy techniques to defuse a violent situation without striking or being JSP in the octagon.
