Matt hushed everyone up. He didn't want their cover blown. "Alright you guys, I'll go over the plan one more time and one time only so shut up and listen. If you don't, you won't be a part of this," Matt warned them. It grew deathly silent because they all wanted a piece of him.

"So, Kat, you're going to go out and meet him in the field. Don't worry though. You only have to be out there wih him for a few minutes before we get him and if he becomes to be too ubareable, we will all be here. Now, when I throw the signal, Damien and Ryan will sneak up behind him. Throw a couple good punches to the kindeys to weaken him. Then the rest of us will jump him," Matt instructed the group. Six eager faces looked back at him. "Alright you guys. Show time."

They all got in position. Katalina got up from her crouched position and started walking towards the middle of the field. As she walked past Charlie, he grabbed her hand and squeezed. She looked down at him as he was on his knees. He mouthed to her, "Don't worry. I'm here." He gave her a sympathetic crooked grin. She took a deep breath, let go of Charlie's hand, and walked to the middle of the field.

Charlie clenched his jaw, unclenched it, then clenched it again. He repeated the pattern until Matt put a hand in his shoulder. "Dude, it's okay. She's going to finally get a guy that deserves her and this ass will get what he deserves." All Charlie could do was nod his head. Crouched behind Matt and Charlie were Katie and Colleen, who was accompanied by her hockey stick.

Matt turned to Katie. "Babe, I don't want you in the middle of this. Colleen can protect herself, plus Ry wouldn't ever let anything happen to her. I'm going to need you to stay with Kat. I'm not quite sure how she will handle all this."

"Alright, I guess," Katie said. She turned to Colleen. "Colleen, kick his butt for me girly."

"With pleasure!" Colleen said with an evil grin.

After a couple of minutes, Sean's motorcycle appeared, racing down the street. He hopped off his bike and charged at Katalina, screaming at her the entire time. As soon as he got within reach, he pulled her down by her hair. At first, she whimpered, but then she became strong again. She stood back up on her own two feet, only to be knocked down again by a slap across the face. Matt looked over at Charlie. He could see that it was taking all that Charlie had not to snap. Matt turned back to Katalina and Sean. Now, they were screaming at each other. All Matt could make out of it was "ugly bitch" "greedy pig" "unappreciative" "scared of you" and "never really loved you". Sean outstretched his arm again and knocked Katalina right off her feet. Matt anxiously looked for the signal from Katalina so he could signal the others, but no such luck.

Katalina picked up herself off the ground, gave the signal, then decked Sean across the face. When he had tried to go after her though, Ryan had already punched him as hard as he could in the kidney. "That's what you get for messing with my little girl," he hissed at Sean.

Soon, everyone was all over the kid. Fists were flying. Damien gave him a good uppercut to his jaw. A cracking noise resulted and Damien smiled, pleased.

Charlie finally got his chance. He instructed everyone to back off because this was his fight for Katalina. Charlie punched Sean in the stomach. When Sean doubled over, Charlie grabbed him by the head and started to knee him in the face over and over again. Sean's screams were like those of a dying cat; high pitched and helpless. The more he screamed, the more power Charlie felt. When Charlie was done, he lifted Sean's almost lifeless body off the ground. He looked him straight in the eyes and growled, "That was for messing with my baby girl. This was the easy beating. I'll break my hand from punching in your face if you ever come near her again!" Charlie threw Sean to the floor.

As Charlie walked away, Sean lifted his body off the floor and went to charge Charlie. Sean's face was met with the end of Colleen's hockey stick before he could get to Charlie though. Colleen didn't even care that there was blood all over her stick from beating Sean over and over. He had hurt her best friend and he was not going to get away with that. Matt helped Colleen with the finishing touches. Then, he gave Sean such a strong punch that he would be out cold for hours.

Charlie wiped the blood off his hands as he walked over to Katie, who was holding Katalina in her arms. He gently took Katalina into his own arms. She was shaking terribly and looked a little pale. "Shh," he tried to comfert her with his deep, soothing voice. He swept her off her feet and sat in the bed if Ryan's truck, pulling her into his lap. She rested her head against his chest as he held her tight. She was still shaking pretty badly. "Shh", he said in his deep voice, "It's okay. I've got you and I'm never letting go."

She pulled her head away from his chest an looked onhis sparkling eyes. "Promise?"

"I promise."
