I wrote a poem out of nowhere about age, time, authority, masses, unfortunate, terminal lives, wisdom, following your heart and reflection. To me, it either proves either there is a higher, more knowledgeable being talking through me through this poem. Or it's a dead person telling the weariness of religion and proving atheism.
I have a religion because there will be things I nid to follow which will discipline myself to be a better person .
I find it funny how Christians think their religion is everything to them. I have no religion and I have an awesome life that I love. So...
I'm just bummed no one with a religion had a valid point at all other then the guy who got held at knife point and felt his life being saved so he turned to religion... I myself don't go to church any longer or pray or talk to "god" but I have a very dark paranormal past and I know evil spirits exist without a doubt from what I've personally seen. So I just want to know if you can have spirits and demons without Angels and a heaven.
Im religious because i refuse to believe that a human was originally a monkey and that before that we were tiny telescopic insects. Which totally makes NO SENSE what so ever.
However i dont believe that 1 religions is the right way and only right way because people are what they are born in. If your born in a christian family then 99% you will be christian. If your born in a muslim family then 99% you'll turn to islam. And so on... Therefore as long as your a nice person treat others how you like to be treated. And respect others and have faith in god you will be saved. No matter what religion. And as for people who say god hasnt been proven. I can say the same thing to you. You say to me where is god who made god. I can say to you. Where was your bing bang theory? And what caused it? And what can cause something when everything was only made after the bang? It tottaly makes no sense. Just like our beliefe in god. But its our choice just like its your choice to believe in your big bang theory. But at the end of the say if we are wrong we have nothing to lose...right? But if you are wrong and god does exist...you have everything to lose? Correct? I rest my case
Hahaha case not rested, we know the big bang happened because of radiation from it just now reaching our part of the universe. We sent up a satellite in the late 90's I believed called WMAP or something close to that to measure the radiation
Yes case rested. Because: Question: What is the big bang theory? Answer: A big bang that happened which caused the development of life an everything that exists including radiation. Therefore your wrong. Because: If the big bang was supposed to have created everything that exists (radiation included don't forget) then how could radiation of caused the big bang? Keeping in mind it did not exist at the time? Now you see, this is why my case is actually rested amongst other points that i made
And if god does exist (a god who watches our every move, not one who created us and moved on to make new things in other parts of the universe) then I have a bone to pick with him about his discussing sense of humor and why he will not smite down rapest and other evil in the earth.
You need some quantum physics lessons friend... Radiation is just the after effects of large energy usually being unstable and exploding.. No one knows what particles had to be involved to have the matter that we do today all around us, but there are still facts being discovered daily so shunning them because you believe an all powerful being had to be behind it is irrational. Science is about building off peoples past work and proving others wrong for the sake of advancement, it can't be science if it can be proven incorrect..
Now your getting into a complete different argument and bringing up a completely different subject. Stick to the argument you presented me at first....read what i said and reply then i will get to this part and answer your points on this point.
If you would of read my reply correctly you would understand, nice try though have a great day Leon and feel free to come back when you want to have a sociable conversation.
The smartest thing someone ever told me was, "question everything, and keep an open mind for nothing is incorrect until said incorrectly." I simply want to present to you different evidence and theories to the puzzle and build our conversation off that, not try and defend one or the other. It does get very difficult when the subject changes to cosmology though because everything is theory and mathematics and we (humans) don't have the technology yet to experiment all their theories in space
People are religious because the human kind has the need to believe that someone is watching over us, our culture and upbringing will influence our believes. We as human kind have the need to turn to something when life is not going well, and we also need someone to blame when things go bad. (that's the biggest excuse atheists use, "if there was a god then why is the world so screwed up?). I'm myself was raised in a catholic environment, although I do not find myself catholic nor religious... I do think I'm a spiritual person, I do not follow a god, nor a creed... I in believe people... And I believe we are all gods... The reason why I strayed away from the religion I grow up with was because of all the lies and hypocrisy I saw in it. Growing up I did get interested in other religions, I "studied" the 3 biggest religions only to come up to the conclusion that they all have the same foundations, only a few names and habits change...
Dshots. What learn all the time is everything is subject to revision. Even the truth. I have had demons in my past. Very dark demons as well. I don't have a religion that I follow. I am learning on a day to day basis how to love me for me. With my past and all. What I did doesn't make me who I am. I believe I lived thru hell. I don't have to go back unless I choose to. I believe hell is what we make it here on earth. Same with heaven. I don't see in the Christian world how this God that loves us unconditionally could send us to a place like hell as they explain it in the Bible. I love my son unconditionally and no matter what he does... THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO WAY EVERRRRRRRRR I COULD SEND HIM TO A PLACE LIKE THAT!! So I believe I get what I deserve. The good. The bad. I believe I get what I need to hear as in solutions to problems from people who have been there and experienced what I have gone thru and make it out ok. As to why or how those people are in my life... Doesn't matter. They are there and that is what counts. I think religion is a power trip. Someone wants to be right and make as many people believe their way. Why can't we all just believe in one thing? I think it is because we are all very diverse. Same reason we all aren't doctors. Period. Same reason we all don't have brown hair. Period. Lol. Same reason we all don't have blue eyes. I think whatever people have to believe to help make them better people is ok. But all of the negative thinks that come with different religions like I said is to me because someone has to feel that they are right. Anyway... that's my spill.
