when did you first know you were LGBT?

i first knew i was gay like months ago o.o and im still closeted.. like im already 19 lol

You cant possibly know if you are gay until your body and mind actually start becoming mature enough to understand the differences of sexes and the want of which ever, so until you reach puberty you dont know weather you are gay or not. Anything before all this is simply your child imagination, if it last past that its simply something that you wanted.

 

You can't figure orientation as a child but you can have a grasp of your identity. 

between 18 and 25 is when people really mature into who they are as a person. Yes some start sooner or even later but that is the general time span.

identity development starts young though.. From early childhood, kids can be aware of themselves and who they are. Some of our traits stay the same, but some aspects of our identity are plastic, and can evolve through our lives as we experience things.

 

I did say grasp.  kids are smarter than they seem.

 

Interesting thread. At 12 I knew somethingwas different. Came out as bi at 14. At 16 realized ilI was a full blown lesbian. Married my amazing wife in december 2013.

 

Lgbt but i am a supporter i believe as lady gaga says you where born this way we dont chose the gender we love we just fall madly in love with whom falls for you as well so i am a huge supporter and i was so happy when ny made same sex marriage legal  there is nothing wrong with same gender love! And yes i believe in god and i am catholic and some religous people are like its wrong well you know what! God makes us as he made white,blacks, spanish, asians ect! He made diffent body forms diffrent eye colors and diffrent hair so now diffrent love and its gods work so do not look at it as a evil thing! Your listening to the bible that was created how many mileniums ago!?? LGBT!!?

 

I was unsure of my sexuality, wasnt really ever attracted to guys though lol, i fell in love with this girl from band last year, and i asked her to be my girlfriend. I came out to my friends last year

 

and my parents still dont know? Its been almost a year and i am still happily in love with her?** oops
