What Women's Rights and Feminism is really about

  1. It should be called "The Epic Fight Against Evil"ism!

  2. Its a lot more than the jokes. Its a lot more than the teasing. Its about this society. In today's society its taught that men should be manlier than the girl. If they aren't the society looks down upon them. In or society its the girls fault for things such as rape. Saying that we entice guys to rape us because of how we dress. Which is true but isn't it about time guys try to control themselves? Why has it come down to the women's job to control men's sex drive? Women never seem to be excepted. We are either to skinny or too fat. Too slutty or too covered uped. For guys its just man up or you're just another girl. Society doesn't accept you for who you are they accept by their standards.

  3. As much as i agree with this thread, society is what it is, its fucked up and we cant just change it. Now i dunno if thats relevant but YOLO.

  4. nice thread. Read every single bit.

  5. Isn't society the people themselves? Us? So, basically we're blaming ourselves for creating this "society" because we can't treat each other in the same wavelength. Okay, got it. Haha.

  6. You know what does suck about society though.

Remember when everyone was nuts over thigh gaps and skinny chick? Then they suddenly wanted curvy women instead.

    LIKE WTF WE ARNT TRANSFORMERS!

And when SOME guys expect girls to have nice boobs a nice butt a pretty face & nice personality

  7. Wicked twisted isn't it, Anime ;)

Which is why I find it funny when people say you can't change society. Because we ARE society. *Cue "Man in the Mirror" by MJ*

  8. Well, it's a plus if you can brag your girlfriend to your friends who has the "old" girls. Lol.

  9. It's like saying we can't change the impossible. Lol.

  10. Wow that was amazing I applaud you. Why can't we have more threads like this!!

  11. The only way society can be changed is by the people within society changing themselves which i doubt would happen lol

  12. I'm an optimist.

    But seriously preach megan 

If women try to adhere to society's ever changing standard of beauty they will kill themselves trying. It's impossible

  13. Thats so true omg.

  14. Anyways, I think the curvy movement was a direct response to the thigh gap thing. But it was meant to encourage women who weren't skinny by saying you're beautiful too. But now it's more off, if you're not curvy you're not beautiful. ? Which is ridiculous.

  15. Curvy isnt even larger women.

Its women with tiny waists and massive boobs and bums.

  16.  Well yeah. That's what it means to be curvy. It's a body ratio, not a size. You can small and curvy or large and curvy.

There's also movement for larger women. And they use curviness as a counter against being thin, when honestly you can be slim and still be shapely.

 And just because you've got a big butt and an ample of cleavage doesn't mean you're fat, unless you're indeed fat.

The difference is clear, you can lose weight, but you can't really change your natural body shape without surgery.

  17. Exactly! And not everyone can have this 'perfect' figure that people want because of natural body shapes 

  18. truly amazing
