  1.  Spit's already an open farm

  2. People are so concerned with what other people think of them than who they really are. ?

  3. Mostly girls though ^

  4. Girls are very self conscious. :(

  5. Well yeah Bow.

But they're saying what you just acknowledged, that not all people are the same which is true. People are all very different.

But like you said, despite these differences, we all deserve to be treated like human beings. Different, yet equally wonderful human beings in our own respect.

But equality doesn't mean you just get handed stuff because you're human. We all as human's have the rights. But some things aren't rights, and they're things you have to earn. You get them because you deserve them.

So while things like respect, not being treated like property, not being belittled, the right to own property, to speak your mind, to fight for your country etc. is are rights

Things like being a CEO, or making a Major League Baseball team, or getting into Harvard, or even the something like getting the same paycheck as your male coworker is EARNED

But things that are EARNED, should be EARNED on an equal playing field. If the women is best business person in the corporation then damn right she should CEO, because in that case a man isn't better than her, and you'd be a fool to assume otherwise just because she's a woman.

And if a woman works just as hard as her male coworker, she deserves the same pay. She shouldn't have to go over and beyond to get what he makes for being a schlep.

And if a woman, scratch that make it a black woman is exceptionally smart, amazing contribution to society across the board THAT should be the reason she gets into Harvard not because she's black. And I bet you that IS why she got in, so don't assume otherwise.

The idea that certain people have to do more than their counterparts, or BECOME exactly like their counterparts (ex. If you're black be white or work harder than the best white people, or if you're a woman become a man or work harder than the best men, or dress more conversatively, or more formally that average man) in order to be accepted or treated the same way is exactly what we fight against.

  6. Society conditions women to be self-conscious. If a woman isn't self-conscious, she's labeled many things.

  7. Why did the woman have to be black?

WHY COULDNT SHE BE WHITE OR ASIAN?

  8. That's true wolf  I think it's just the way we are. There's always going someone's opinion that you care about.

  9. Because I'm black  So I went with black. Cuz I can identify.  But yah, it works if she's Asian or white.

  10. And yeah society is hard on women. It's hard on men as well. It's hard on everybody. I think society hates people.

  11. Well I don't judge on gender
I treat both males and females the same
Cause at the end of the day
Who the fuck am I or anyone else for that matter to judge someone?

  12. Yeah, i judge on boob size and ass size.

  13. It's because people think that people should behave a certain way. But what can we base those off really?

  14. Archaic practices?

  15. It bothers me when women do stuff like having a bake sale to promote feminism and be like men $1 cupcake. Women 75¢ that's not really equal it's just going against the whole point of what you're trying to do 

  16.  Seriously? That's just dumb.

  17. I think true feminism just needs a different name. At the moment the stereotypical feminist is an angry man-hater. You can either change societies views on what feminism really is, which is difficult, or give true feminism a new name (perhaps one that doesn't attract feminazis by making explicit reference to females - as you say, its an issue that impacts both genders)

  18. Good Idea.

Feminism gets an extremely bad wrap nowadays and I certainly see why, because I thought feminist was code for man hater for a long ass time. ? And I've always agreed with the things that feminism is supposed to stand for, I just couldn't identify with modern feminism and what it's come to stand for.
