I get what you're saying. You don't get what I'm saying. I actually don't mind that you didn't understand my writing. You guys aren't pointing out what about it you don't like so or what similes, metaphors, multi syllabic, punch lines, double entendres... Etc... That I'm missing.... So since I've won contests with both my writing and music on a national level since the 2nd grade... I'm not going to give up just because a few people on an app clicked my thread and had a negative opinion of my free-writing. Especially since most of what they are saying is intended to hurt and not help.?
I'm not back. My account isn't that active. I have a few friends but mostly when I'm bored I write down my thoughts and some times I post those thoughts in the off topic section of forums....
They were judged by people that are in the writing and music industry. I'm pretty sure their opinions matter more. So tell me more about your opinion of my writing that no one asked about....?

I'm pretty sure Wolf and others already told you it seemed like the rap didn't really flow that well and tbh it made no sense. Everything just seemed out of context and random. Next time, instead of insulting everyone that doesn't like your music, ask what they don't like instead of getting defensive. Or simply don't post it here because you're going to get feedback and you aren't always going to like what others have to say.
Well, I won a drawing contest in the 2nd grade that doesn't make me Da Vinci. The point is that you keep judging us as uneducated, small-minded, "untraveled" people with no appreciation for art and yet here you are taking your divine time to post in a public forum filled with people you imply aren't worth your time.
It sounds like you have some previous passive aggressive issues to settle to me... You said it didn't flow to you. Well you're not a rapper so this would be difficult for you to make "flow". I understand that. If you want me to write something for you then give me a topic and rhyme scheme and then maybe I'll try to write something specifically for you. This song wasn't for you though... Not sure how you missed that.
I don't mind what others have to say. I have the right to respond to their critiques however I want. I didn't make sense to you. I got it. Don't expect me to apologize for the art that I create... And don't expect me to ever not think that I am the best at what I do.?
I know poetry and I know that some lines sound great together and some don't. I know that there should be a general message to lyrics. I didn't get that. It seemed messy to me. I'm no musical or lyrical expert but I can appreciate what is good. You're just never going to stop trying to overcompensate so there is no point to it, really.
Okay... A. No one ever asked you to apologize for your 'art' we simply asked that you learn how to take criticism better instead of getting defensive every time someone doesn't like your music. B. You may be good at what you do, but you aren't the best. If you were, you wouldn't he writing lyrics on a mobile game to a bunch of 'children' as you so eloquently put it.

Overcompensate for what? You like what you like. I like what I like. I have no problem with you not liking it as long as you have no problem with me acknowledging that you have not put in the amount of time, effort, or understanding of music that I have. I appreciate your opinion. I'll take that into consideration the next time I'm writing something that someone is going to compare to other things or poetry... When this is what it is. It stands on its own. Sometimes I stand on my own. The title is Vanity. It's a conversation with the mirror. Some people will get it some won't. Music isn't a horse race. You have a preference. Maybe one day my writing will be good enough for you, but until then there is no reason for me to stop. So yes, your attempt and disheartening my passion has failed. Go wipe away your tears and battle scars. Better luck next time.
