  1. No support

  2. Jimmies are NOT condoms. Y'all call jimmies "sprinkles".

  3. Idk whose basement you've been doing drugs in but is not mine. I donut have one

  4. This is how I know you don't know what you're "talking" about. Jimmies are condoms. It's slang from the 90s.

  5. I meant your closet

  6. I'm talking about Philadelphian dialect. We, here in Philly where I live, call "sprinkles" jimmies.

Go read the Wikipedia article "Philadelphia English" on our dialect or just Google "Philadelphia jimmies".

Don't tell me that I don't know my own city's dialect.

  7. You didn't live there in the 1990s, or if you did, you were an infant.

  8. I was born in 1999, but my parents and maternal grandparents grew up here, and jimmies has always meant sprinkles here. Google it, like I said to. It's been that way for decades. Jaco can't tell me that I'm lying about sprinkles = jimmies like he did LOL

  9. What if they were just protecting your innocent ears and lying to you.... because eating jaco’s version of “jimmies” on ice cream is ummmm... kinda weird

  10. idk my city dialect ..had to ask the weed man to tell me wtf a tilly is and I'm pretty sure everywhere in the 90's jimmie meant condoms

  11. You mean “jimmie hat” = condom from the 90’s. Ya jimmie is ya johnson... just putting that out there... and benz is right. Jimmies is sprinkles in Philly. I’ll cosign on that.

  12. I hate Philadelphia!

  13. And on top of that slang mean different ish in different places... a square where I was meant a single and in other places a single is a Loosie and a square is a goofy/lame/tourist. Bones where I was had two different meanings... could be ya duckets, could be dominoes... just depends on how it’s used. We said thurl... other places said brolic.. other places said savage... other places say solid. People call scrapers, boats, old schools etc... buckin mean somn completely different in Memphis than it does in LA.. and Jook/Juke mean something different depending on if you talking to somebody from Florida/Chicago/Detroit. Ask somebody in Oakland what footwork is then ask somebody from Chicago and get two different answers... ish happens... you gotta know where you at and who you addressing at all times.... rules.

  14. ? idc about that, jimmies are condoms no matter what weird shit y'all call it.

Sure you know the wps, but that's not the topic at hand

  15. Culture vultures always change the meaning of our slang... for an example... the slang term thirsty means desperate but people on PIMD use it as, you're thirsty because of these actions:

    a) being sexual
    b) being comfortable with your sexuality.

    gs

  16. "I had the jimmy on extra tight" Google what movie this is from and stop the side convo about y'all copycat meanings.

  17. In this case, the movie took the slang from the streets... most streets didn’t get it from the movie. Movies are not the streets or certain areas and that movie was attempting to portray an area... most areas don’t attempt to portray movies... especially blaxploitation films.

  18. The movie, wasn't based on a true story, but at the same time it was one of the only movies to actually display that lifestyle properly. They took all the slang and actions, the drugs, the liquor (and beer) brands from reality. Unfortunately, the movie ended in a distasteful way.

  19. Don’t get me wrong I saw the movie as a child... and yea... not sayin I can’t relate to some occasional out of pocket ish myself... but some laundry ain’t meant for everybody to see and certain directors have a habit of making movies that don’t highlight enough of the good and in-betweens... fúckin up the perspective for everybody imo.
