We stand out, because contrary to popular beliefs, we are not accepted yet in so many parts of the world. We want EQUALITY. That's why we make our "exaggerated" statement.
IceEngel, I actually agree with you. The problem I encounter in my life is that people usually CANNOT tell that I'm gay just by talking to or by being around me. I don't fit the stereotypical mold that you seem to have developed. Many of us struggle to come to terms with who we are. I announced the fact I'm gay on this thread, not to seek attention, but to reach out to people who are frightened to talk aboutit. The reason (i think, at least personally) why we do this "coming out and telling everyone" sort of thing, is because people assume my sexual preferences are the same as theirs and try to start up a conversation with like .who they fucked last night or which girls they think or hot, etc. Im comfortable with who i am
Fratboy, they'll find out when you say the girl was Nice instead of Hot. Which reminds me of that Justin Bieber Meme when he contemplates a chick's skirt instead of her ass
im a dude, so i like a girl with a nice butt. and a nice rack (of course). but im just sayin that those shouldnt be the only things you look for in a girl
Zed gets the idea lol, im assuming that he's straight. Which is an example of IceEngel's thoughts, reflect your preferences by the way you act, talk and just who you hang out with
exactly flin. and yes, im very straight. but yeah hang out with normal people, and look for normal relationships. not relationships based on intercourse and stupid ways of having fun. that is not what relationships are about, and certainly NOT what pimd is about. pimd is about having fun with other mature adults, but these 12-14 year old kids are using it for rp and fake relationships.
kill all the perverted little kids my solution that, or they ban all the underaged players' accounts, and make it harder for em to play. like have the game make u give ur social security number or something
I'm sorry I meant to stereo society not my self. I'm in the arts so I'm surrounded by gays both female and male. I find myself colour blind and orientation blind. I've been reminded ppl at work " oh you mean the coloured guy in accounting" mean while my brain had not made a connection he had a better tan. I don't see an issue and kinda pity the "red neck society" avoiding human fact. We differ in many ways yet together we make up a whole. Wouldn't it be a bore if we were all the same. My point was you can isolate yourself by demanding recognition of your uniqueness. It seems contradictory. My claim is your not unique, just a fabric of normal modern society.
Yes!! Support all the way! I didnt read ALL the posts but i did see that there is more support than i expecte. My sis in law is a lesbian and i didnt even know for the fiest 6 minths..shes no different then me!
homosexual or heterosexual, the only difference is who you would prefer to be with. it doesnt change you as a person.
I'm just glad we are getting much support you bring up many valid points engel, i guess where i grew up and live do make a difference on our outlooks and how we treat people.
Yes society in a big city does not have the time to tear down the individual. I live in a very rural area yet two gay couples are at every field party. To many factors like parents bigotry and religious morays play a part. Every individual has hurdles no mater the orientation. Here we recognize gay marriage. There was no debate or public out cry. Society, the voters just said, makes sense. Heck that's why we voted them in, for progress. As a society you can't reject a portion as their interest does not appeal to you. You can't isolate a person with a unique colour of skin, height, religious belief, handicapped, surely those days are behind us. Individuals will seek support to show distain for a group who's only difference is living on the other side of the tracks. These ppl are an afront to all of society, your not special, lol
