I luv my nephew but that doesn't make me create random posts about him. If u reveal their personal info for a reason I understand but it just seems like it's something they should have a choice to choose or not choose to reveal.
See, we don't know who your nephew is. So does that violate his privacy? You're telling us if your ghost nephew. A being that is there, but is not. As long as know actual details are given (DoB, SS number, phone number, address, etc) we don't know who it is. Your nephew Tod? We don't know. And you could totally make a thread regarding your nephew. Nobody will stop you.
1. Who mentioned religion? 2. Let me say that again. Confidentiality. Nobody will know that the friend I referenced here is my friend. Do you get that? I'm not randomly posting their info. I'm not saying what they look like, their name, their phone number or address. No identifying information has been given. There are a vast number of people with bipolar disorder (manic depression as I called it before) how is anyone on this game supposed to know that one of those hundreds of thousands of people in the world that has bipolar is the friend I mentioned , without giving out any of their personal details? Simple. They won't. Therefore my friends privacy is not at stake. I'm a social work student. Confidentiality is the biggest thing we are taught. As long as I disguise their true identity, or withhold identifying information, their privacy is kept intact.

How is it gossip? It would be gossip if I was talking about the latest celebrity sleeze. I'm referencing someone nobody knows, and never will know. A nameless, faceless individual. There is no gossip there.

You're twisting my words. I was comparing celebrity sleeze (a satirical gossip genre) to gossip itself. It is not gossip if there is no name or face to the information. And in order to get this locked you'd need to wall a mod. ️
