Pizza is pie by definition. Not the definition of what you think of as a dessert pie, but the classical definition of a pie. In today's world we forget about meat pies. But before refrigerators they were very common. They were baked with thick layer of bread on the outside (like pizza crust). The bread was only eaten with fresh meat pies. In older meat pies the bread would be left to go stale an incase the meat and fillings inside. It kept air from touching the insides, which prevented bacteria from growing as fast. Meat pie is the original Tupperware
Are we going to expand into meatloaf being like bread now? And meatballs are like a muffin sized version of meatloaf when breadcrumbs are used?
no, it doesn't. Roti and bannock are both forms of bread and neither require yeast or salt. Pizza dough is always bread, yeasty or otherwise.
Pizza is a type of bread Spaghetti is a type of pasta But pizza is not “bread” in entirety And spaghetti is not “pasta” in entirety Because there are different variations and diversity to bread (like with pasta) #pizzaisatypeofbread
Spaghetti is the name of the type of noodle. Read the damn box. Spaghetti is a pasta in it's entirety. Macaroni is a pasta, penne is a pasta etc. When you order a dish at a restaurant you order.... spaghetti with marinara or spaghetti with meat balls etc. Those are the names of individual dishes. I'll give you lasagna, as it's the name of both the pasta and the dish. But that's it. READ THE MENU! And pizza is still a pie by definition you dumb nuts. How high are you guys?
Those are not the same thing as bread bread. Roti is a tortilla/pita like bread and bannock is like a biscuit. When I say bread always requires yeast and salt, I’m talking about actual bread. Like sandwich breads (like the ones you buy pre sliced). Those always require salt and yeast. ??♀️
You even called roti a bread when you were describing it. Just because you mean sliced sandwich bread does not mean that's the only type of bread.
Shut up noob. There's plenty on nonlevened breads. Also quick breads, like banana or zucchini. You're drunk, go home.
You think I don’t know this? I’m only referring to sandwich bread. So you’re gonna start calling pie dough bread? I mean it’s called a crust, yes? Like c’mon... just because there are different types doesn’t mean anything. Next y’all are gonna start calling cakes bread... Just because things are similar doesn’t mean they are the same.
I'm still confused on how this is being argued about. Pizza uses bread, but isn't just bread entirely. Same as a burger, a burger isn't bread. Although it does use bread in it.
