Omg I forgot when I did karate for a year when I was like 5 Needless to say and moved back and forth through a lot of sports and only ended up really enjoying Irish river dancing and fencing
Karate sounds fun. I was considering taking up jujitsu (which is probs totally dif but o well). Idk much about fencing
Aah. It's about the same price here. Im just cheap, haha. It's twice as much as my dance or yoga classes. It sounds like a ton of fun! Haha, just learning to get on the pole I feel would be a challenge in and of itself. Good luck!! Enjoy
Hmmm maybe I'll look into it c: It does sound fun. Is it mostly guys? I prefer being around women or a mix :/
It was mostly men in the classes I've taken, but overall I would say the sport is pretty decently split between genders? I've met a lot of female fencers outside of my classes. Usually we're at an advantage anyway, because we have less target area and can move a little quicker on our feet. (Plus, the fencing gear itself is pretty full-body so you don't quite feel "exposed" or anything that you might in other sports.) You'll also be at an advantage if you're a leftie like me, too! Not many people are used to bouting with a leftie, and it can throw them out of their groove and put them at a disadvantage.
Ab workouts terrible for your spine? Damn you definitely got a belly. It’s good for your breathing and mental toughness. Try it sometimes.
Tbh this doesn’t motivate me to get out my warm cozy bed... I need something for that first then I’ll do that massive workout...
I walk around 11k-20k steps a day at work, depending if it's a normal day or stocking day. If I added a workout to that, I'd die. But, I do plan on going to the gym on my off days pretty soon! I just have to get the gym key from my aunt when she gets back from vacation. It's about time I get into shape.
All I’m seeing are excuses to not workout your abs. Or workout at all. If you want a healthy temple you gotta stop making excuses
