I think you should each make a dessert as well! Or a bread! Baking/pastry is more difficult than cooking. [:

But imagine a dessert with the main ingredient! What if the main ingredient were to be EGGPLANT? An eggplant dessert would be interesting! 

 

Can I say chocolate?

 

Not all desserts need ovens! Sugar candies, chocolates, ice creams/sorbets! Haha. Eggplant jam? Eggplant gummies? Isn't a popular Italian dish eggplant parmesan? You could make a play on that by deep-frying an eggplant ice cream. Although, I'm not sure how good any of that would taste. [:
