Whoa! I'm not saying what they did was right at all! And personally I don't think it is the "correct" mindset. I was just stating that the Jews get a lot of grief going back to what the other has said and that our different societies see things as right and wrong that can cause us to say and do things we may see as "acceptable". which is kinda sad..
This is a condolence thread, not a thread where you can vent your opinions and argue with ppl. Please be respectful...
Look. Religion is stupid. Its nice to believe in something but others might not agree with what you believe in. People killing each other over religious beliefs has been happening since wah before your great-great-greah-great× 50 grandfather was born. So my point: Religion is overrated.
Preach. Anything that causes the amount of pain such as what this thread is about does not seem like a positive thing to me at all.
Anything has the potential to cause the amount of pain that we see here w religion, even something as "pure" as love. It isn't religion itself that is bad, it's many people's interpretation of it that is the problem. Anyway, as mod was saying, I do agree this is just a thread to share our condolences, and not so much to get into messy debates abt religion. At the end of the day, these people are dead and we should have respect for that, no matter which side may have provoked another ot whatever. Just a thought.
