How It Works Claim Your Free Box 🎁 Starting right now, each player can claim a FREE Doll Stars Sorting Box from the Store. Opening this Box will randomly assign you ONE of several Shade Shard Colours pairings; kind of like the Sorting Hat except it's a Box (that you could put on your head, we suppose). These two Shade Shard Colours will remain your assigned pairing throughout the event, meaning you will only receive these two Shade Shard Colours from any Doll Stars Barter Box you open! For example, if you’re assigned Pink and Blue Shade Shards, those are the ONLY two types you’ll receive from Doll Stars Shard Boxes. You won’t naturally earn the other Shades, and that’s where trading comes in! Collect Your Assigned Shards 🕶️ Doll Stars Shard Boxes will be available to purchase from the Store using Cash and opened using 149 ECs. Each box will contain Shades (Shards) from your assigned pairing, helping you build up your personal stash! PLEASE NOTE You MUST open the Doll Stars Sorting Box first and be assigned a Shard Pairing or you will be unable to purchase the Barter Box above! There are 6 different Shard Colours available across the event, but each player will only earn two of them directly. Need a reminder of your assigned pairing? Each tier requires a different Shard combination: BASE Each Base avatar costs ONE (1) specific Shade Colour. For e.g. All Dolled Up Avatar: 800 Red Shade Shards VIP VIP versions require a combination of TWO (2) Shade Colours, different from the Shards needed for their Base version. For e.g. All Dolled Up (VIP) Avatar 1250 Green Shade Shards to purchase the VIP Avatar Box 1250 Purple Shade Shards to open the VIP Avatar Box VIP+ VIP+ versions require another combination of TWO (2) Shade Colours, different from the colour pairing used in the VIP version. Opening a Converter Box will - you guessed it - convert one specific Shade pairing of 225 of each colour you own into another pairing! Each conversion/box will cost 75 ECs. Damn y'all couldn't even wait for the key shards to move out from store before introing this, really?
Okay so i already have a lot to say about those, starting about the amount of shards needed to get the vip+ of each avi which is 8300 shards total to reach vip+.. Added to that, the price to open the shard boxes is the same (149ecs) yet we only get 450 shards minimum instead of the usual 800 we have in shard boxes? Even as a spender, i find this way too expensive and not worth spending for because now the base avis are 800 shards each which is gonna be unaffordable for a lot of people who can’t afford to spend hundreds of ecs to get what they want 🙁
So uhm.. basically regular shards with a more complicated system and more money to spend? I genuinely thought we'll be at least able to earn from parties so we can trade them.
Honestly stinks, if you want to barter shards go back to old format where we got drops from parties during a hunt that could be traded more fairly not this with more work just as expensive as normal shard boxes, passing on this.
While I appreciate all avis to be of same stats and same amount to obtain them, the fact that you are sorted into two colored drops and have to trade or use ecs to convert your drop colors into other to get avis is just too complicated, not to mentioned greedy. Please stop overcomplicating how to obtain items in the game 💀
Oh. So you still have to open them with ec. So it's just a more complicated blueprint set up? After we JUST had a blueprint drop?
Where do i even begin...So you went to the drawing board abd thought to yourself "Hmm what event would be such a breath of fresh air" and you thought to make shards that are harder and more complicated to collect? Why is your form of content is "spend money!...but this time it's quirky!" Boxes give 450 shards instead of 800 while still 149ec to open, so a uselessly complicated system to get the shards and need to spend more to get them! Idk who told you that people's idea of fun is lining your pockets..
