Support the effort, but not much interested in DIWALI HUNT ......for us Bengalis its not a big event, we don't even celebrate diwali same for south Indians & north east Indians We celebrate on the day before Diwali unlike the rest of Indians by worshipping goddess Kali, some worship Dhanlakshmi along with Ganesha ......and the reason of lighting candles /diyas are totally different for us too .....for us its way to enlighten everywhere so that every unholy spirit stays away as its considered that on that day, which is full moon the gate of hell opens & the ghosts or unholy spirits come to our world to roam about freely So what we don't celebrate can't support, as I don't support other religion based hunts like X'mas or Good Friday or Easter hunt .....I only took them as another hunt, nothing more

I'd support this, at least it is real people avatars and hunt, not some childish freakish cartoon/child hunt... But in all likelihood, if you sent to support, I'm certain you'd get the same polite canned reply that hundreds of others get and just gets filed in the dead letter office
Seriously good job. Not only did you take the time to point out which countries celebrate it which was more than I was expecting, you explained the celebration from different angles. Thank you for educating me on a different holiday. Although I don't celebrate it, it would be fun to see one like this. Support. I feel we would learn a lot more than just about the holiday.

Its not about Bengalis, Gujratis, Punjabis, its more about India As a whole. My idea is to let the community know that we have a Festival of Great Importance. And Even i am a Sikh, the festival we celebrate and the diyas we light are for very different reason. Its not about religion. Its about Heritage and Culture. Id love to see this hunt here. Thats all there is to it.
