i think SpitFire's idea is really really cool. Oh, and maybe you could do something where a guy lives a totally normal life, but during the night he sleep walks and commits murder. And maybe you can say that he's targeting a specific group of people and show both committing the acts, and the police trying to track him down. Oooo, and maybe you can put a bigger twist on it, and make the guy be one of the cops trying to catch the murderer (during the day, so he has no clue that he is the criminal)
