Ooo that's an awesome one Spitfire. May I also mention that we must also create a legend to go along with the story... Kind of like Irving and "The legend Of Sleepy Hollow"...
Okay, the legend is that bigfoot comes around at midnight around the city, and the monster could be bigfoot.
A group of friends discover a cave in the woods and unleash a demon that was trapped there over 100 years ago. They have to find out how to trap it again before it kills everyone.
Nooo how about it's like a scary story parents tell children to make them eat their carrots or something because a monster will take their eyeballs and everyone thinks it's fake but IT'S NOT
And then like you could have a scene where the teacher is calling roll, and like 4 students are there out of like 20. And then on the board the chalk floats and says "U R NEXT"
With the iPhone, it could be with some crazy developer that doesn't get noticed for his hard and ends up losing it. Maybe makes an app called KillCam and people think it's some fun app to play with friends, but it actually kills the losers. The developer ends up famous but questioned about why he doesn't use the app and he ends up needing to play it and so on and so forth. Bam! Weird legend!
But you don't all you do is write stuff like "The mushroom was happy but then he was eaten by a cat. NOOO DON'T DIE MUSHROOM." Lol no.
You guys are lucky you don't have to write this story, I have such little time to do it! I'm so stressed.
There's a legend that there's a circle of stones in the woods that was made by shaman two hundred years ago. If you stand in the circle, your thoughts come alive as small creatures. The more you concentrate, the more alive and real they become. A very sad and heartbroken lonely student discovers the circle. He focuses all of his negative fears and desires and it coalesces into a demon with the head of a lion and body made of shattered glass. It terrorizes and kills those who bullied him and torments the girl he loves.
