Enough is enough

  1. I choose to believe that the age rating thing is good for the game. We can’t erase the past but for any incoming stumbling youngsters, they would have a safer platform on the game.

We were all young once. Back then, I don’t think everyone follows age ratings for movies or games. By right other games like GTA shouldn’t be for kids, but pretty sure many kids have the experience of playing such games in their early years.

Even if the age rating is only for adults, there’s nothing stopping them from faking their age unless there’s some sort of ID check integration. Better to be safe doing it this way. It’s just my personal opinion.

It’s not making this game for kids. The game is still 17+ and there are restrictions in place if they’re younger which is a good thing.

  2. Mods are biased because they are unpaid and have clubs and friends in game. I get 30 daily silences for saying "asf"

  5. I have seen other people (including OP) claim they tested features and came across some loopholes and bugs in it that end up allowing minor/adult interaction. OP actually sent me some screenshots and videos.

  6. I support this wholeheartedly.

Regardless of recent rating changes and oppressive rules put in place, ATA has been in strong need of a reality check for a long time.

This game can die as quickly as KAW, GAW, and FC.

  7. May as well announce the closure of the game. Main players, long term players and many others are tired of being ignored in their wishes or concerns.

  8. I support this.

Seeing that it wasn’t even properly made and there are loopholes and bugs that allow interactions is insane. If it’s actually for safety wouldn’t you want to make sure everything was secure before releasing.

One of the reasonings for the change being they wanted to reach adults they can’t reach with age restrictions too is mad weird. Lowering it is just going to increase this “more than 3%” rating because your app will literally be in their app stores. All because you want to “keep the game going for years” 🫩

  9. It's just a game. Maybe Canada feels we all support trump.i know I don't that's a given and I don't like the scanty dressed ava or the naked ones it's not right

  10. Support this heavily! ATA has been ignoring the community that allows this game to thrive for far too long now imo.

  11. I support this heavily.✊🏼 sick of the constant money grabbing

  12. 💰 I 100% SUPPORT THE COMMUNITY SPENDING BLACKOUT 💰

    August 25, 2026 – September 1, 2026

And now that I've gotten that out of the way... 😂

I don't normally comment on threads like this, but I've been reading through this one and the comments, and I agree with so much of what has been said.

I've been playing for almost 14 years. It'll officially be 14 years on November 8th, and I've never taken a break. I've also been running my club for well over 13 years. In all that time, the biggest reason I've stayed has never been hunts, avatars, leaderboards or whatever new thing is being sold.

    It's been the people.

I've made some absolutely amazing friends from all over the world through this game. Some still play, some have moved on years ago, and some friendships became real-life friendships and relationships. I've watched people meet here, become couples and still be together years later. Hell, I met my boyfriend on PIMD and we've been living together for over 3 years now.

That's what this game has meant to me.

I've spent more money here over almost 14 years than I even want to think about 😂, but a lot of that wasn't even about me. I like spoiling my club. I've spent money on my members and on things that make the game fun for the people I've spent all these years playing with. I've always tried to keep my club peaceful and give people a place where they can just play the game and enjoy themselves.

Which is probably why some of these changes bother me as much as they do.

The name changes really irritated me. I had alts with names that the game itself allowed me to create, only to suddenly have them changed to random "rename123456" type names because apparently those names are no longer acceptable. Fine. Standards change. I can understand that.

What I DON'T understand is why the player should then have to spend EC to choose another name.

I didn't change the rules. I didn't change the age rating. Your system originally accepted the name. If you're now deciding that a name you previously allowed doesn't meet your new standards, the reasonable thing would be to give that account one free name change. Don't change someone's name because of a policy change they had absolutely no control over and then expect them to pay you to fix it.

And the age rating is probably the part that bothers me the most.

    Teen. 13+.

I've been here almost 14 years. We all know what kind of game this is and what kind of content exists here. Look at some of the avatars alone. We're really going to pretend that's appropriate for a 13-year-old?

I understand there are age verification measures and restrictions on certain social features. That's better than having nothing in place. But I don't think that magically makes a game like this appropriate for children.

Kids are smart. They find ways around things. And even if certain communication features are restricted, it doesn't change the content they're being exposed to or the possibility of someone eventually finding a way to move a conversation onto another platform. The thought of putting kids into an environment with adults where there is even an opportunity for the wrong person to start building that kind of connection makes me extremely uncomfortable.

As for the pay-to-play aspect, that's been growing for years. I understand ATA is a company. Companies need to make money. I don't expect everything to be free.

But there needs to be a balance.

When even the free side of something like a battle pass feels like scraps compared with everything being pushed toward spending, eventually people notice. And after enough years, it starts feeling less like "here's something fun you can buy if you want it" and more like spending has become the entire point.

Personally, I couldn't care less about being Top 10, Top 100 or Top 500 in a hunt. 😂 I like my sleep way too much for that. I'm not here because I need another avatar or because I need my name on a leaderboard.

I'm still here because of my club and the amazing people I've met over almost 14 years.

And that's exactly why I'm supporting this spending blackout.

Not because I think ATA shouldn't make money. Of course they should. It's a business, and I've willingly supported that business for almost 14 years. But sometimes the only way customers can make it clear that they're unhappy with the direction something is going is to stop financially supporting those decisions.

I'll still be here. I'll still run my club, play with my friends and enjoy the community I've spent all these years being part of.

But I can absolutely stop spending.

If enough of the people who normally spend choose to do the same, maybe that speaks a little louder than another forum post or support ticket.

That's why this is sad more than anything.

There is a community here that ATA should be incredibly proud of. People have formed friendships that lasted over a decade. People have met their partners here. People have built clubs and communities they've maintained for years and years. Players have spent an unbelievable amount of time and money supporting this game because somewhere along the way it became more than just a game to us.

I just wish it felt like the people who built that community were still valued as much as the next thing we're being asked to buy.

    💜

  13. What we are against is with allowing the age restrictions on playstore, now 12+ are being target advertised this app. So yes there were kids on here, that ATA did nothing about, but it was a very small percentage.
Now think about this app showing up in all other apps and target advertising areas like social media and you can see that its going to create alot more onboarding onto the app, which I can prove is very very easy to get around the age restrictions.
What we want is the app store age rating back to 18+ like it was as its an adult game and we can deal with kids when we come across the small amounts that we find. Thats "IF" ATA even want to ban them...

  15. Sorry Just read the rest of your comment, yes thats correct alot is locked off, but think as a kid if you came into this game and knew there was a open section would you not try and get in?
Now also think that its actually very easy to get in, ATA setup a age select wheel and thats all the verification you need as a 12yo. Also some functions are locked off but I was able to RS a age restricted account (my own alt) and have a conversation with it. All of which they said was impossible. So why would they rush this out if they didn't have alterior motives? Which they do, and happy to discuss them but its alot of info and tends to get ignored, look at my post on page 4 or thread about the new age restrictions.
If ATA wanted to have a proper safe area for kids, it would be as easy as a secondary server so adult content can't even be seen, nor can adults, and a simple graduation when you turn 17 similar to what alot of apps/games have had to do to protect kids

  16. This community been growing for 15yrs+. Most players have their circles--form a family, a tag, a bond, a love-hate relationship--to keep them playing and looking forward everyday to connect to this e-world where friendship and some relationships grows by time. And longer players knows what's going on and out of this game.. What more the DEVS & MODS? So are we going blind now and allow below 18 to enter this world where those pdf run wild & free? -where private messages are unknown to all whats gonna happen in there? Or how'd this younster be lead on to by wrong people they'll meet along the way?

Let's support this SPENDING BLACKOUT 100% and help spreading the words . Let ATA hear our voices! Don't be blind and deaf! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

  17. I couldn’t agree more with this. After so many years, it’s the community and the people that make PIMD worth staying for… not the hunts, avatars, or leaderboards. Players have supported this game for years, and it’s completely reasonable to expect that loyalty to be respected.

The spending blackout isn’t about wanting ATA to make no money. It’s about making it clear that there needs to be a balance between monetization and the community that built this game.

Well said, and I fully support this. ❤️
