6th Annual Drawtober Art Challenge Our intent is to inspire creativity and to allow artists, both experienced and not, the opportunity to challenge themselves. This means that sketches and rough drafts of projects are totally fine! In this challenge, judging will be based on how you decide to interpret the theme, rather than skill or overall product. Welcome to the 6th Drawtober! I typically host with Phobia but she is very busy with real life at the moment, so she won't be in attendance. There will be 4 different themes to tackle this year. Each theme will last for one week. Since forums is hard for some players, you are welcome to upload your submissions in #drawtober2025 in the PIMD Discord. Rules Spoiler ✩ All types and forms of art are acceptable—photography, painting, drawing, sculpting, baking, and even fashion! Note: AI "art" is not art and will not be accepted in any capacity! ✩ All submissions must have your *handwritten* IGN,. ✩ Digital Artwork must have proof of the process, such as showing layers or posting different images throughout the creative process. ✩ ANY USE OF AI WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. Any and all use of AI will result in an automatic disqualification for this event and all future creative events hosted by @Day. ✩ No plagiarism. This includes but is not limited to: AI programs, tracing, or copying of ideas of other artists. Plagiarism in any form will not be tolerated and will disqualify you. ✩ All entries must be submitted by the deadlines given. ✩ All entries must adhere to all aspects of PIMD's Terms of Use. ✩ The use of Alts is not allowed. Only one entry per person is permitted for each theme. ✩ Out of respect for this event and other artists, please take the time to make an effort on your entries. If you did it in 1 minute just because you want a mod crate, this will be grounds for disqualification. Failure to adhere to these rules may result in a forfeiture of potential prizes. If any of these rules are unclear please ask. How Will I Find the Themes? Spoiler There will be four challenge themes throughout the month. Each will be announced in this thread and in the PIMD Discord in the channel #drawtober2025 at 12pm PST on their respective dates. If for whatever reason you are unable to post your submission during the given time frame, please contact @Day as early as possible. Prizes Spoiler Over the years, we have had a lot of consistent participation from regular returning creatives and I really want to award that tenacity. So this year, if you submit work for ALL Themes, you’ll complete Drawtober and earn yourself a mod crate. You absolutely heard that right. A mod crate for completing all 4 Drawtober challenges. But, be aware that some themes may require more work and effort than previous years have! One GRAND PRIZE WINNER will receive 3 mod crates! This person will be selected based on their use of the medium of choice and interpretation of theme. This year we’ve also invited some of our fellow mods to take part in the contest and pick their favorite entry! Our featured mods for this will be: Defenestration, Doofus, Hales, -iLyssatheGummyBearKissa-, Fayee, Joy, Molly-Mae, OopsGottaBlast, Yaya!! That’s 9 chances to earn an extra crate on top of the participation prize! Theme 1: Metamorphosis Though this theme may coincide with spooky ideas, just note that it doesn’t have to! Any interpretation of this theme is acceptable, as long as you can explain your artistic vision. Entries for this theme are due in a week, on Wednesday 10/8 @ Changeover or 12pm PST. Please review all of the rules and regulations if you’re planning on posting digital media, and ask questions if you need! As a reminder, you must enter ALL themes in order to be eligible for the Grand Prize and Challenge Completion Prize.
