I don't hate the thread I just think there are many fallacies in it so I wish to point them out. As for the sexism.. what sexism would that be? Like sexual harassment? That goes both ways... Maybe getting hired? That's inaccurate too. Because of laws business owners must have diversity in the work place. This means that if twenty people are working at a company and they're all men and a new job opening is available. A less qualified woman is likely to be hired over the more qualified man. I think that is absolutely sexist I agree. That man is left unemployed due to the fact that they want a woman. Another similar example is the army. Women have lowered qualifications for admittance into the army due to their naturally smaller size. I had a friend who had a small girl in his platoon who would in no way be able to carry him to safety if need be. Yet she is still there despite the fact that she's not as physically capable as the men in her platoon. I don't think her being a woman played any part in her deficiency in strength but due to strength requirements for women being less then those of men she was along side him, endangering his life. Tyler, my boyfriend didn't seem to think it was sexist and btw feminism and sexism are WAY different. Sexism is saying one is better than the other. Feminism is trying to empower females because in case you haven't noticed, females are NOT treated as equal. For every 10dollars you make doing a job, a woman makes 7doing the same thing.
