I'm not nearly active or established enough to call myself any form of pimd player. That, coupled with my leanings toward just visiting here with spare growth and helping parties between leaves me as just a tourist kawer. So yes, your people. Your forums. Not mine. Now please, stay on topic.

I walk this path full of darkness. In the distance I hear the children cry with defeat. Faces appear with eyes streaming of tears. Little hands reaching out begging in need. Knowing many before me continued heartless. My chest caves as the ground beats my feet. Trees thicken to swallow the cries as they fall on deaf ears. I ask myself how could one just leave.... Kinda not sure about this. I feel like the ending sucks. Doesn't feel like its coming together right. Yall tell me what you think.

I know I said poetry but this will be my last quote I swear. When I first heard it, it got me thinking that once I'm gone, I can only be remembered. Maybe not by name, maybe nobody knows what I looked like, but my actions are what would define me in the future, if I'd done anything worth remembering. In the end, it doesn't matter how you lived. Its, well, how you lived. You know? How you used that time, what you did that was important enough for people years after your death to recall. You could be the man who destroyed a country, or the woman who cured cancer. You never really die if people still know what you did. Anyways, sorry for rambling. I tend to do that. I'll have one of my favorite poetry pieces next to bring this thread back I swear.
The imagery is good but I think the ending fits in very well. Course I'm no English major so I could be wrong but it looks very nicely put together.
That poetry thread is very old. I wouldn't even know where to look for it, to be honest. It's nice to have a thread in Actives for literary art form.
I used to write poems. It was like... eh I guess a relaxing hobby thing for me. Besides doing art. Think my wall arts on here took that over tho ???
