I don't normally have anything to say in these forums, but I feel the need to speak up. ATA, your greed it showing and hanging out for everyone to witness. Is it Embracer forcing you guys to do this? If so, I'm sorry to say, but your days are numbered, girl. You have free to play players leaving by the droves. Lite spenders are right behind them, and now even Whales on this game are stopping in their tracks and noticing you guys are pushing your hands in their pockets for a game they love. You guys are quite literally biting the hands that feed you. Switch it back to it being an EC option. Why do you consistently release things that will upset your community by large amounts? You guys can't be seriously that out of touch and unaware?
Naomi, from what I understand, you can still collect the past tiers regardless of when you purchase the VIP version -- the rewards are just "locked" until you activate it by purchasing! Hopefully though we can get some further clarification because you're not the first person I've seen ask this question.
I really do feel like this is Embracer. I mentioned some of my thoughts in this post, and after looking at the specific timelimes, it does really seem like this started happening to this degree when Embracer became parent company.
i really don't get it, is the company hurting for cash or something? like do u guys not make enough money from the top 1% of players who spend hundreds, if not thousands on this game on a weekly basis? i genuinely don't understand why you guys keep making obvious cash grabs like this.
Ata I don't know why you are all trying to make all your games the same but please stop forcing PIMD to be like your other crazy cash grabbing games your just gonna lose so many more people by doing it this way. Specially when you have to make crossovers to make people play all your games Let PIMD just be PIMD and not something it's not and give us back the EC option when people use months saving up the ec or even the bentos in game... it just not okay and it just looks bad on you guys
Honestly what I gathered from what everyone is saying is the CONCEPT for the battle pass is great, just how you enacted it for an IAP ONLY instead of having your EC option like you DO for every other pass is pure greed, even Fortnite lets you use their v-bucks that players save up for their battle passes instead of just an IAP
You have people selling tradeable story pass now for double or triple what they were originally worth. Some people clearly have nothing better to spend their hard earned money on so they're taking advantage of f2p ppl. And why wouldn't they? Ata damn sure takes advantage of them. And let's call this "first ever battle pass" what it really is.. a story pass that has no different mechanics than any previous story pass. Wording it a little differently doesn't justify putting a brand new price on it. This is disgusting and ata never ceases to amaze me at how low they'll go for some 💰💰💰
Yep, I'm cancelling all of the October BBBs I was booked for. I can deal with the sexual stuff even though I hate it, but I cannot deal with the constant cash grabs. I'm not wasting anymore money on this game when it's probably gonna get shut down when there's no more players giving in to your greed.

I wanted to hope ATA wouldn't get forced into the greedy p2p layout from a holding company like Embracer 💔 but it's clear as day that that's what's exactly is happening
