We all have our secrets and insecurities that we want to keep hidden. Being online in a game like this offers an opportunity to present ourselves a certain way without much consequence but things get personal especially when you begin to forge friendships. I've seen how there could be a lot of deception and betrayal in a game. It's only a game but then the people are real so we should always remember the difference.
One time I lied about washing my hands after using the urinal. Good part is I was training my new coworker at their desk. Wasn't my keyboard, pen, or mouse that got used.
I've said what I had to. If people can't see past that then I'm helpless but atleast I can I say I tired instead of doing nothing all my life.
I am posting this for Taylor, for whatever reason forums hate her. "I'm one of the three people that this man has put through hell and back. Lying is wrong. Lying is deceitful. Lying is stupid. There's been a lot who have lied about their identity you're not the only one at least you've cone out about it, everyone gets hurt sometime in their life & eventually they'll get over themselves. Congrats on coming clean though
Apologies show nothing. Lol it's a start, but they're just words really. If you want forgiveness show it through your actions.
Same thing happened with me and my ex. Maybe I'm stupid and naive for continuely going back and being there for him, but sometimes there's more to it than just the superficial stuff he shows the world. Plus emotions are fickle creatures and quite often you find yourself going against your instincts. What's wrong for some might be right for others. People have to want change for it to really happen within themselves and some people will just continue with the behaviour they know and feel comfortable with because their lines of reality have warped and they start to truly believe they are the person they portray themselves as. I wish you luck, as I know I've spoken to you before about certain issues op, in finding who you are and what you need to fix within yourself. Life is hard and love isn't easy. Be yourself and good things will eventually happen.
Atleast I've started from somewhere. But how are you suppose to show it when they want nothing to do with you?
By starting over with someone else and making sure you do not repeat the same mistakes. At this point, there is nothing you can do with the people whose trust you've broken.
I don't know who you are but all I'm doing is making peace with the people I've hurt. If that's an issues for you then I suggest you go solve that somewhere else. I didn't do this for sympathy I did it cause I had to come clean for something I did. If that's wrong then I can't help you any further.
