  1. I'll work it out and post an ss. Hold on.

  2. That looks like my homework from a few weeks ago but easier lol

  3. I lied. It doesn't factor right.

  4. That looks like a more complicated version of ax squared plus bc plus c 

  5. Yea that's hard what math are you in

  6. It's an ellipse and the X side is longer than the Y side

  7. I'm in "sequences, series, and multivariable calculus"

  8. Im too dumb for all that.

Anyway, I gotta go to sleep now.
Thanks for all your help guys and girls! Really appreciate it!

    Expect me back tomorrow...... lol

  9.  ok lol you can bump this thread or feel free to post on the math thread idc

  10. Yea that's why I'm in algebra 2 I'll be in calculus when I'm a senior

  11. Oh ok.

Lol want to hear something funny 

My teacher never put any of this stuff on the test that I just sent a picture of because he said "this stuff is too easy and I don't want everyone making a 100 so I won't put it on the test"

Sadly, he was right in that this was easier than everything that he put on the test 

  12. I don't even...understand...*twitch*...

  13. Classify the conic section and write its equation in standard form. Then graph the equations
    X squared 9y squared 8x 4y 7 = 0

  14. When determining the shape you just look at the highest powers. So when you see x^2 and 9y^2 it's an ellipse because the coefficients aren't the same. If it were x^2 and y^2 then that would be a circle. And if there was a subtraction  x^2-9y^2 then it would be a hyperbola.

  15. So the 8x and 4y don't affect the name of the shape that it is classified as but it does affect the graph in that it translates the graph and stretches/compresses it

  16. Omg my for post are being stupid I try to post then it said it failed and then it gets posted twice

  17. And yea I got that stuff I'm learning parabolas Thursday and that got accidentally posted
