You have to do square root of one over square root of 25. So it's 1/5. Square root of one is one. Square root of 25 is 5.
Yes they are. Good to know there are helpful people out there that are willing to go out of their way.
If you don't have a calculator try to make them both perfect squares. If you can't, just round to the nearest tenth if you can get that far in your head. If you can't do that either just leave it in the square root form.
29 is a prime number so when taking the square root of it, there's not much that can be done by hand to simplify. We know that the square root of 25 is 5 and the square root of 36 is 6 so then the square root of 29 is some number between 5 and 6 which tells us that it cannot be greater than the other one.
You can tell that unicorn is correct because 29 is in between 25 and 36. The square roots of them are 5 and 6, which are both lower than 7.
He has the square root of 29 over the square root of 10 (100) and he took the square root of 10. Which gives him the square root of 29 over 10.
He got 29/10 by taking the square of 100 but not 29. You can see in the answer how he left it as the square root of 29 over 10.
I went from the square root of (29/100) to the square root of 29 divided by the square root of 100. Since the square root of 100 is 10, I was able to take the square root sign out of the denominator. However, since 29 is not a perfect square, I had to leave the square root sign in the numerator. I don't know the square root of 29 off the top of my head and it's certainly not 5.5 5.5 was an approximation because I know it's between 5 and 6
Yeah. lol and damn it twice in a row somebody says the exact same thing I'm saying, right before I post it.
I didnt see the 29/100=29/10 I thought it was 29/100 plus 29/10 .. Lol. I get it now. Its so easy... I feel stupid. I guess all I needed was a little (huge) refresh
