There is an abundance of creatures, humanoid and not, with many arms in all of mythos (meaning ANY myth, story, religion, etc) and all of them could’ve been inspiration - this is like saying we should remove any religious symbol from ANY media because “it could be offensive” if perceived that way. Slippery slope. It’s a demon with a bunch of arms just like giants have had, just like gods have had, just like the multi-arm dude from Ben Ten had.
