Daryl: I'm still ahead on the course-grabs her chin-first and third period are classes you don't have-pulls her into a hug-

He walks into his physics class and takes a seat in his usual spot, which is quite close to the front of the class.

 

Minnie: *rests her head on his chest and hugs him back*

 

Daryl: -touches her forehead-haven't you grown taller than back in eight grade

 

Minnie: Not a whole lot. Maybe a few inches. Why?

 

Daryl: didn't you have to stand on your toes in order to put your arms around my neck but now you don't

 

Minnie: I used to. I'm glad I don't anymore.

 

Daryl: so am I-touches her forehead again-you grown into a beautiful young lady

 

Minnie: *blushes madly, grinning* Thank you very much, lovie.

 

Daryl: you are so easy to understand-kisses her cheeks-

 

Minnie: *giggles a bit* Only to you.

 

Daryl: very very very true

 

Minnie: *nods and kisses his nose gently*

 

Daryl: have you invited anyone to the circus for next week?

 

Minnie: Not yet, why?

 

Daryl: just wondering

 

Minnie: Why are you just wondering?

 

Daryl: cause I want everyone to go there with us

 

Minnie: Then I'll try to invite anyone I can. But I'm sorry if I forget.
