I assure you Ang, I am old enough to escort myself into the cinema, but thank you for the consideration of sneaking me past. I am old enough to attend a film by my lonesome without being questioned if I'm legal. I was only implying that this thread is popcorn worthy. and wishing that there was an emoji to express my opinion of it's worthiness of popcorn ?
Well considering the facts that they have thousand of users I'm sure they would be getting spammed every second of every hour. And Not by the same person either. No one is bringing RL into this. We are talking about the game and I never said it was something it was going to be implemented. Like Said nothing wrong with getting everyone to share their opinions and to get ATA to see what some of the Pimd community thinks. Not everything is up to the Mod's players can pass on the massages 2. And thanks for the email Address but I already have it.
Even more clearly, the option for players to prevent blocked users from seeing their walls etc removes the unnecessary work associated with checking for validity of a report, whether users are making frequent reports (a lot of players have several alts. It would be quite possible to 'gang up' on a player by using alts and friends to target them with report spamming depending on the situation). In my opinion, for a support team this clearly seems a much more logical business decision. In terms of why would you care, some people would and some wouldn't. As ATA is concerned about its customers, it would be nice to see them implement such an option to protect their privacy since players have clearly supported such an idea once honey raised it.
And again It's not about what's posted on my wall but rather when they start to stalk (I mean befriend) anyone that posts on my wall that's the main issue. Hmm I'm sure is called being stalked a little Sorry Pimd playing up, hence the late reply lol.
Ata make in excess of 20-30 million pounds a year, probs even more these days, People were spending 20k-70k a week on dn etc, those are facts not made up by me. I'm sure they can afford a dedicated support network to investigate reports. In either case don't think Honeys or my suggestion will get implemented. And after all this is just a discussion, I'm not suggesting ATA have to implement a report button. But I could make a thread asking ATA to make users select their relationship status on signing up as we all know married women and men are having relationships on here ? ( as it could cause a divorce) . Would ATA worry about that too as a moral ground? Would they not feel an obligation then to protect someone? I don't think they would tbh In my opinion ATA do enough to protect privacy, not asking ages, personal details etc But as I've said repeatedly i'm not saying this is a good or a bad idea but I personally don't think this will get implemented. And as topic is derailing this is my last post on this subject, I shall watch with bated breath to see if this happens. Good luck
Spoony that goes to the same level as people pretending to be someone they are not. I'm sure the Dev's are not concern about people's Personal life's or how they look like. I don't get why you so oppose to this tho. It's only a suggestion.
Why would a business spent extra money creating a dedicated support team when a much simpler option could be created? That defies all logic I don't believe ATA appoint themselves moral guardians. Whether married people are having virtual relationships or whether teenagers are saying I love you to someone they met 5 minutes ago, they still should be able to protect their privacy from the overly attached ex girlfriends that were told they were loved 10 minutes ago
I'm also not quite sure how the two suggestions are even linked. Honey suggested that people who are blocked shouldn't be able to read your wall. That seems kind of like a anti stalker feature. You're suggesting a relationship status feature. That's an advert. To at least 90% of the pimd population anyway
If what the person is doing isnt against the rules then you cant report them for it. If you want to block stalkers then you should be able to. Thats just my opinion. Think of it like facebook where you can limit your post to friends or friends of friends or close friends only. I dont want everyone to know I just ate a packet of galaxy bites only my close friends or whatever not some stalker guy/girl who asks me things like "so did you have fun on the toilet".
