Is this what we as a human race have come to? Making jokes about a tragedy? You're not clever or funny, you're sadistic.
Thank you Royale. Also my stand on this currently with the news I have heard/read does lead me to believe the was some sort of an "Act of terror" not blaming any country or religious believe at all. This could very well be just a sick minded individual located right here in the USA. No blame to anyone as of yet. Either way people died. People were injured. Families were affect. So was my nation. As with any nation who goes through such a thing. I'm sure we can all agree this is a tragedy.
Royale is right, stop making this about a he said, she said thing. This post is for everyone in Boston and not a farm post. That being said, my thoughts and prayers are with everyone in Boston hoping that the injured are ok and offering my condolences to those who have lost their loved ones. Stay strong
I think people need to stop worrying about things they know nothing about and focus on the fact something tragic happened. Let people pay their respects, this isn't a time for egos or jokes to be front and centre.
This is horrible and a devastating thing to wake up on behalf of many Australian we wish all a safe recovery. And the all others and families much comfort in such a confronting days. Prayers to you all
Dammit man. It's funny how immature adults are nowadays resorting to harm to there fellow man to solve there own problems
So terrible what happened:'( I hope the culprit(s) is caught. Just wrong how people can kill and not think twice about it!
Ill say here what I said in the other thread: Okay most people here are going to probably think I'm rude for saying this and are going to have a shot at me but I ask you, please do not read this and take away with you the idea that I do not think the bombings in Boston are a tragedy, because they are. And my heart and prayers go out to everyone involved. My intention here is to outline something that I am yet to understand: 2 people so far that we know (possibly more) have died in the Boston bombings and over a hundred people have had terrifying injuries. This is a real tragedy, of course it is. Why? Because it is unfair, unjust and a shock to people involved, people who's families were involved and the whole world. Today, in fact, everyday, 4,000 children (1 every 20 seconds) die because of unclean water and sanitation, starvation and many more horrible diseases. That is just 2 examples of death in undeveloped countries. Why is it that when something abnormal happens it become heard. It becomes news, it becomes remembered, it becomes recognized, it might even become a special day. But when the tragedy of poverty and democracy happens everyday it's normal, it's accepted, it's okay because it's just always like that. That's what happens to them, because they are those people, they are used to it. I took a trip to Cambodia last year and the state in which the children were was so upsetting it brought tears to my eyes. I've supported numerous foundations and people get sick of me asking for donations, asking for petitions to be signed and seeing my letters. But let me put it in perspective for you: What you all feel now, what the world feels right now about the tragedy in Boston is exactly how I feel everyday about poverty. Now you can laugh, you can label me with all kinds of things, but that is how I and many more feel about extreme poverty. Poverty isn't felt by the world everyday and it has gone on so long that it has almost become accepted. That I believe is a tragedy in itself. I'm not condoning it one way or another but whether you hate it, love it, the spotlight is constantly on America because of my Australian media. A bombing there, a country in some aspects very similar to Australia is like it being in my backyard. Poverty is not seen as an attackable problem. But something like this happening in America people can relate to since they're similar to us, and it can create fear that the same thing could happen here.
Will be praying for the injured people, the friends and the families involved in this tragic incident.
I get you ericardo but the forum is labeled Boston explosion I think.. Call me crazy here, but I think it's about Boston bro. That sucks about Cambodia tho, you could be an advocate for Cambodia, even create a forum about it but in your separate forum. Boston is in my families prayers.
They all have my prayers.. It's terrible to even hear what happened on the news I was actually shocked to hear that
@morrissey I understand that bro, if you read again the start of what I said I was asking why is that something like a bombing is heard everywhere, remembered, on the news and possibly even made a remembrance day, yet kids all around the world under extreme poverty, it's not shown or cared for. I'm asking why. It's because it's been going on for far to long that people have accepted it. It should be thought about cause it is a mayor tragedy just like the Boston Bombings
