I respect the wishes of the tutor. If their status says do not hire, I won't hire. But if she wanted to keep me as her pupil, but her old pupil believes that that is HER tutor, then what would be right?
I would respect that, I don't need to satisfy my ego on a game by going against someone's requests? and I was brought up to show people respect even if it's not returned, well until they do something to not deserve that respect but that's just my opinion

I understand you can out grow a pupil but if they are only slightly up and their status says dont hire me, its very possible that the pupil is actually busy and will bump when they log on. Yes there is no "rules" but respecting the tutors wishes is respectful, easy enough to find another tut.
I'll just hire anyways, if the old pupil feels the same way about the tutor then he'll hire back, I would rather have the bump then someone else

@raven, some people (like me) never get offered to bump tuts, therefore I don't have many other ways. It's not about disrespecting the tut.. It's about me playing the game and hiring an active tut. It's a source of making money or getting an active tut. It never is anything personal.. Only time I really look at anything is to see if the pupil is at war or in a sfw(legit one, not just a status message saying 'in sfw don't hire tuts')
Excuse me for deviating from the subject. But it intrigues me. Do you guys know how much you make from the bumps? Like from a 1t bump you make 15b ??you can make that in a CC party.
Ok but seriously bumps are the not the best way of making money on here lol I never buy a tut I don't want to keep. Hiring one purely for a bump or to quickly on sell just isnt my thing.
