I won't be participating in these shards as I'm tired of overly sexualising women on this game. Maybe I feel that was because I'm a cozy kinda gal who loves sweatpants and hoodies over being nude š¤·š¼āāļø but considering ATA are targeting this game at younger demographics now, I find it concerning about the male/female imbalance around outfits on avis recently. And yes I understand that Easter is very commercialised these days, but ultimately it is a religious holiday and some respect should be shown.
I think I have to agree with everyone on this one. I think if you were to sexualize the males just as much u do females there wouldnāt be much complaining done⦠I know sex sells⦠but idk š¤·āāļø it seems weird thatās itās mostly targeted towards the females and not the males as well⦠BUT I will say aside from the nakedness they are CUTEASS š (even the males š¤Æ)
Got the tier 1 Avis, both male and female. Love the colours, but I noticed that the gal looks a little unhappy.
I feel vindicated, seeing how I'm not the sole player with these same sentiments... (Albeit, in spite of my negative opinion on the concept for the Female Avatars, in fairness to the artists: The artwork, on its own merit, is superbly done--particularly, the Male ones.) And, as per usual , ATA chooses to to turn a blind eye and not address the deeper issues voiced by the PIMD community (which, for the record, I've personally observed on several occasions); instead, preferring to mainly focus on "technical" aspects of the game: A lot more players and I have been highlighting similar grievances, on many a previous event and/or posts. The lack of accountability on such issues is glaringly notably--how these have seemingly remained swept under the rug; not directly addressed by those in charge. Both in my opinion, as well as in my experiences: An Art Department (typically) can only go so much as to create the work. Ultimately, it's the Management, who decides on the approval and release of such work/s.
I meant āIt is one thing to buy the shards for showcase purpose (which very cute) and another thing to use the avatar (even if itās gift by someone) and criticize those avatars outfit appearance about the oversexualized ⦠you arenāt helping āthe situationāā¦.
This is literally why I got her š her face and hair are cute, but the physics defying anatomy/clothing was too funny to me. This is definitely up there with some of the feet and neck proportion issues that crack me up when I see them.
Can we have like MATURE, grown looking⦠MEN and WOMEN avatars? TATTOOS? BODY PIERCINGS? JEWELRY? BODY, FACE/NECK, ETC? ELEGANT STYLES? I am sure I could go on, and on⦠thereās tons more on old avatars and in my collection; slowly fading away or has been faded out for a while.
